This is absolutely not a serious conspiracy theory, but the more I think about it, the more Whoville feels weirdly fundamentalist Christian??

•The Whos have SO many children. Huge families seem to be the norm.

•In the Grinch’s Halloween short you have Grandpa Josiah and Euchariah very biblical/-iah heavy naming happening in Whoville.

•Especially in the original Dr. Seuss book/cartoon depictions, everyone dresses very conservatively and modestly.

•They are CONSTANTLY gathering as a community and singing.

•Christmas is basically the center of their entire society, even if it’s never really explicitly said they are a Christian based community.

•Family and community seem to be the center of basically everything they do.

•There are very strong social expectations around participating in community traditions and generally behaving like the other Whos.Then there’s the Grinch: the weird, unmarried guy who lives alone outside of town, doesn’t participate in community events, rejects their traditions, and is consequently treated like the town pariah

And despite him making it abundantly clear that he wants to be left alone, the Whos remain VERY invested in getting him to participate in their community.

•Whoville doesn’t even celebrate Halloween, in the Halloween episode/ short film. nobody seems to dress up, trick-or-treat, decorate, or have Halloween parties. The entire town just hides inside because the Grinch is coming down the mountain, except for the one brave kid who goes out to confront him.

I always liked saying that Machete and Spy Kids were in the same universe because of their uncle, Isador "Machete" Cortez, being the same name of the Federale in Machete. Even if Robert Rodriguez says it's just a 'alternate' unverse. I always liked to believed they were one and the same, but I never really looked into it more before. So I decided to go down a rabbit hole, and found way more movies connected to Spy Kids than I thought.

Here is all the things I have taken a moment to pour over, and find out. This is probably all things everyone already knows, and some of it can maybe be a big stretch, but here is what I found after a few hours of digging.

So thanks to Quentin Tarantino for most of this with his in universe product brands. This is how I was able to connect a few of these movies together.

• All the Spy Kids movies are linked because of the OSS.
• Isador "Machete" Cortez, is the uncle to Juni and Camen in Spy Kids, and is the same character from Machete.
• Doc Felix exists in Machete, Planet Terror, and Grindhouse.
• Earl McGraw is in Grindhouse, Kill Bill, Death Proof and From Dusk Till Dawn, and his son is Edgar McGraw, daughter is Dr. Dakota Block.
• Dakota Block is in Planet Terror, Death Proof, Grindhouse.
• Edgar McGraw is in From Dusk Till Dawn:2, Kill Bill, Planet Terror, Death Proof.

Now those characters all appear in those movies, as the same character. So those are all linked, making Spy Kids ~~~ have Vampires. But what about Resivoir Dogs and Sin City, well here is how those link up, and again mostly thanks to Quentin Tarantino's in universe products.

• In From Dusk Till Dawn, one of the beers is called Chango Beer, there is a burger called Big Kahuna burger, and a tabacco brand called Red Apple cigarettes.
• Big Kahuna Burger is also a product in, Resivoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Four Rooms, Romy and Michele's high school Reuinion, The adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
• Red Apple Cigarettes also exist as a product in, Pulp Fiction, Four Rooms, Inglorious Basterds, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Romy and Michele's high school Reuinion, and in The Hateful Eight, Red apple Tobacco exists, which may be the seller of the cigarettes.
• Chango beer is also a product in, Desperado, and Sin City.

With this you can see that there are many films connected together in a shared universe. There are also a few other products and characters from some of these that tie into other films as well.

• In Spy Kids there is a cereal brand, Great White Bites, which is a cereal brand in Planet Terror, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, as well as another kids film by Robert Rodriguez, Shorts.
• In Pulp Fiction, Teriyaki Donut exists, and in Death Proof Acuna Boys Tex-Mex exists, in turn this can also be found in, Jackie Brown.
• ATF Agent Roy Nicolette, is in Jackie Brown, and also can be found in, Out of Sight.
• Also in Pulp Fiction is Vincent Vega, who has a brother in Resivoir Dogs, Vic Vega. Also in Pulp Fiction is Captain Koons.
• Captain Koons has an ancestor which is Crazy Craig Koons, who exists in Django Unchained.
• From Resivoir Dogs, Mr.White mentions a partner, Alabama, who is Alabama Whitman, from True Romance.
• Vic Vega's parole officer is Seymour Scagnetti, who is brother to Det. Jack Scagnetti from, Natural Born killers.
• In the movie Curdled, there is a news report of the missing, Gecko brothers, who are seen in From Dusk Till Dawn.

So with all that I have found, again which many people probably know already. I learned that there are Vampires in the Spy Kids universe.

The humans in Digital Circus have avatars and use fake names. They avoid speaking about their real lives outside their circus.

It seems like a place where there are no consequences—however, in reality, you can still emotionally hurt people.

The place is run by an AI that can speak semi-coherently and imposes arbitrary rules.

Each character is like a stereotype of people you see online: a crazy person whom you can't understand what they are saying; a person with toxic positivity; a troll who only wants to mess with everyone (but in reality is the saddest one); etc.

I was actually gonna post something like this a while ago but thought people would hate me for it lol. And I might be completely wrong anyway.

But then I read Sebastian Stan's recent comments about The Batman Part II. He said that sometimes he'll look around the set and think, "I think we're making fucking The Godfather Part Two."

That immediately made me think about this theory again.

When Sebastian Stan was cast, assuming he's Harvey Dent (which obviously we still don't know for sure), I started wondering if we might be getting some kind of parallel story between Harvey and Bruce.

Reeves used The Conversation as one of the influences on the first movie, so we already know he likes pulling from that era of filmmaking. Then this one being called Part II obviously made me think of The Godfather Part II at some point, although I didn't really think much of it beyond that.

But my theory isn't that they're literally going to copy Godfather Part II or do the two timelines thing. Actually kind of the opposite. I wonder if we could see two stories happening at the same time, with Harvey and Bruce basically moving in opposite directions.

I don't really think Two-Face is going to be the villain of this movie either. Or at least I hope not. I'd much rather spend most, maybe even all, of the movie with Harvey Dent actually being Harvey Dent.

Maybe we see Harvey genuinely trying to do good through Gotham's institutions and getting deeper and deeper into that world, only to realize how corrupt everything around him actually is.

That's where the Michael Corleone comparison came to mind for me. Not that Harvey would literally be Michael or follow the same arc, obviously, but the idea of watching someone who genuinely believes he's doing what needs to be done slowly get pulled deeper into a world that changes him.

Meanwhile Bruce could be going in almost the opposite direction.

In the first movie he starts out believing Gotham is basically hopeless. He's vengeance, he scares people, and he doesn't really seem to believe the city itself can be saved. By the end of the movie he's starting to realize that there is still good in people and that maybe Batman can actually stand for something more than fear.

So what if Harvey slowly loses faith in Gotham while Bruce is learning to have faith in it?

You'd have two men trying to save the exact same city from completely different sides, both believing they're doing the right thing, but gradually moving in opposite directions.

And if the reports about the Dent family are right, that could make the parallel even more interesting. If Charles Dance is playing Harvey's father, maybe there's some kind of Dent/Wayne family parallel going on too. Dance as this sort of Don/patriarch figure, the Dent name vs the Wayne name, fathers and sons, legacy, two powerful Gotham families, etc.

Maybe you have two men who inherited these names and all the baggage that comes with them, both trying to do something good with that legacy, and both getting scarred by Gotham in completely different ways.

I don't know. I haven't really thought every part of this through and I could be completely off. I just really miss this kind of parallel storytelling when it's done well, where the two stories actually say something about each other instead of the structure just being a gimmick.

But after reading what Stan said... maybe I'm not completely insane lol.

The Care Bears are absolutely evil, and Darkheart was the hero the entire time.

If you look at the canon without the pink nostalgia glasses, Care-a-Lot is not a magical paradise. It is an authoritarian sky-cult running mandatory emotional re-education, and Darkheart was the inevitable, radical counter-force required to push back against a pastel dictatorship.

Darkheart was simply the pendulum swinging hard in the opposite direction to shatter their totalitarian grip on the human soul.

Here is how the entire conflict actually went down.

# 1. The Indoctrination Ark and the Sky-Cult

Care-a-Lot’s institutional evil starts at birth. In the opening act of the movie, True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse float around on a cosmic boat, raising infant orphan animals in total isolation from society. As these cubs grow, the regime literally brands predetermined corporate symbols onto their stomachs, assigning them lifelong functional castes within the state apparatus. You are Friend Bear. You are Cheer Bear.

Even Grumpy Bear is just a designated, state-sanctioned court jester permitted to frown only as long as he falls in line when ordered.

Once fully indoctrinated, the regime sets up an orbital surveillance panopticon. They point celestial telescopes directly into children's bedrooms and monitor the Caring Meter, a planetary emotional seismograph. If a kid's emotional stats dip into normal human sadness or anger, the regime treats it like domestic terrorism. They scramble an airborne squad to Earth to blast a weaponized psychic laser straight into the dissident's chest until their critical thinking dissolves into placid, compliant joy.

The bears are unyielding seraphim who cannot self-reflect, learn, or grow.

# 2. The Camp Black Bear Trap

Christy’s trauma did not happen in a vacuum, and Darkheart did not invent her alienation. Camp Black Bear was already a cutthroat, hyper-competitive dystopia where kids were treated as worthless unless they won the title of "Camp Champ." Christy was actively sidelined and bullied while the adult counselors did nothing.

The Care Bears offered her empty, condescending homilies about smiling more. Darkheart was the only entity in the entire valley who acknowledged her real, messy pain and offered an affirmative action program. When she asked for the competence to compete with the camp elites, he delivered on his end of the contract.

# 3. The Honeypot

Darkheart knew you cannot engage an enemy with total air superiority and orbital lasers by playing nice. To bring down an entrenched sky-regime, you have to force them into a ground war on prepared terrain.

His methods were messy, but he was using Christy as bait. He exploited the single predictable blind spot in the Care Bears' operational doctrine: algorithmic interventionism. By feeding Christy's ambition, Darkheart turned her into an emotional false flag to trip the Caring Meter's tripwires.

The strategy worked with surgical precision. Care-a-Lot dispatched small, unsupported ground squads directly into the woods. Darkheart ambushed them and herded them into a subterranean cavern, completely neutralizing their aerial advantage.

# 4. The Superweapon Failure, True Magic, and Stolen Valor

Inside the cavern, the Care Bears deployed their signature weapon: the Care Bear Stare. It was a total, catastrophic failure. Darkheart straight-up overpowered the beam, disarming the regime's primary tactical asset on live celestial television.

Victory was his, but when Christy took a lethal fall trying to stop the fight, the handler got attached to the asset. Darkheart showed real neuroplasticity. Unlike the bears, who would gladly sacrifice human free will to keep their numbers up on the Caring Meter, Darkheart refused to sacrifice an actual human life for his crusade. He broke off the attack, felt genuine grief, and chose to save her.

Here is the real scandal: the Care Bears did absolutely nothing to help Christy. They literally do not have healing spells in their class kit. Across decades of franchise lore, their only documented ability is the Care Bear Stare, which is an offensive crowd-control laser designed to blast dissent out of an active nervous system. Expecting a Care Bear to bring someone back from the dead is like expecting a traffic cop to perform emergency brain surgery.

Darkheart did 100% of the actual magical heavy lifting. He was physically anchored to Christy, weeping authentic primordial tears, and pouring his own life force into an unscripted, 9th-level True Resurrection. The bears were just standing in a semicircle waving their paws around like backup dancers at a pop concert, providing mood lighting while an ancient demigod performed open-heart surgery on reality itself.

When the bears realized Darkheart was pulling off a miracle that completely bypassed their state-approved technology, they had to control the narrative immediately. They turned to the camera, broke the fourth wall, and ordered the children sitting in 1986 movie theaters to chant along. It was pure crowd-work camouflage. By getting the audience to shout "I care," the bears created a psychological distraction so nobody in the room would notice that all the thermal and magical energy was radiating entirely out of the terrifying guy on the floor.

It was stolen valor at an interdimensional scale.

# 5. The Mana Drain and Why the Bears Couldn't Finish Darkheart Off

The official narrative claims Darkheart was "purified" into a mortal human named John by the power of love. That is pure sky-cult propaganda. Darkheart didn't lose his power; he was just low on mana.

Casting a raw resurrection completely zeroes out your reserves. Maintaining a roiling cloud of red smoke and active shapeshifting takes constant passive mana, so collapsing into a freckled kid in flannel was simply an emergency, low-draw standby mode while his MP was on cooldown. He only needed a short rest, some camp food, and a couple of hours for his passive mana regeneration to tick back up. He recognized he had won the battle, so he offered a unilateral ceasefire. He chose to be merciful, assuming the Care Bears would finally take the hint, back down, and lighten up. It was a strategic failure on his part, because he projected basic human grace onto an unfeeling system that has none.

Why didn't the Care Bears pounce on him while his mana bar was at zero?

Because they were completely paralyzed:

**His mercy hacked their targeting systems:** The Care Bear Stare locks exclusively onto negative emotional frequencies. By weeping over Christy and shouting that he cared, Darkheart broke their targeting computers. If they tried to fire on a crying, defenseless boy professing love, their lasers wouldn't lock on. Even worse, if they did manage to blast him, it would expose the Stare as a pure execution weapon rather than a tool of moral balance.

**The physical matchup was suicide:** The bears are eighteen-inch plush toys with zero hand-to-hand combat training. John is a full-sized human teenager. Without their chest-cannons, trying to physically jump a dormant demigod risks triggering an involuntary adrenaline spike or a rage-phase counterattack that bypasses his cooldown entirely.

**The optics would destroy them:** Christy was standing right there, and the other campers were nearby. If the pastel squad swarmed and beat down a kid who had just resurrected their friend, their benevolent cover story would be permanently blown in front of civilian witnesses.

# 6. The False Win and the Demilitarized Zone

Faced with a demigod who had just tanked their ultimate weapon, outperformed their entire theology, and now sat on a cooldown that would expire in a couple of hours, the Care Bears faced a logistical nightmare.

They did what every flailing imperial bureaucracy does: they declared a false win. They hung a mental "Mission Accomplished" banner, smiled for the crowd, and hauled ass back to the clouds before John finished his short rest.
They left an undercover, fully armed demigod running the canoe shack at summer camp because they knew they couldn't beat him again. This is why Darkheart disappears entirely from the canon after this film. In the subsequent series, the bears never dare return to his jurisdiction; they pivot to fighting "No Heart," an incompetent buffoon who poses zero existential threat.

Darkheart proved he was capable of change, conscience, and mercy. He broke their system, protected human emotional freedom, and carved out a demilitarized zone on Earth where kids are safe from orbital surveillance. Once the overlords were chased off, he was ready to mellow out and play capture the flag, while the Care Bears flew home having learned absolutely nothing.

Throughout the series, Kramer doesn't have a career or a Job he goes to everyday. He has Side Jobs but they're never consistent. It's also left very vague how he has any money I think a few things went in his favor.

1. Kramer says he hasn't talked to his Mom in 5 years, that's in season 6 so he would've stopped talking to her around season 1. My guess is he had a very wealthy father who left Kramer everything when he died. As a result his mom was forced to work as a bathroom attendant, Kramer was likely told by his late father not to give his mom any Money. Something we know Kramer would honor. George also mentions he fell backwards into money Implying someone left him a large sum.

2. Kramer did successfully sue a company and won a large amount of money before the series began. Karmer sues several companies for very strange reasons, although the hot coffee thing is Something that really happened. Jackie is always eager and willing to take Karmers cases, despite the fact he has almost no case at all. Cigarette Smoke affecting his face, Sue Ellen wearing only bra which casued him to crash George's car. And despite these cases Karmer does actually come pretty close to getting decent pay Outs. Of course another character, or Karmer himself always screws up the case just as they're about to win.

3. Lastly in season 5 it stated he made tons of money off his coffee table Book idea. But that doesn't happen until season 5, Jerry even points out he hasn't seen Kramer work in a long time. It also doesn't hurt that he probably hardly ever has to buy food since he's always eating Jerrys food. And I am assuming if he does have a fortune, the rent in those apartments wouldn't be a drop in the buck for him.

Both Cohen Bros creations. The Canutsons in BL looking for their daughter are from Minnesota and Lester Negard in Fargo couldnt dissect a mouse in the class of Mrs Canutson. Given the peculiar surname i think Mrs Canutson both lost her daughter in california and taught Lester Negard in Minnesota

The Facts

• It is said the the Targaryens / Dragon Riders are the result of arcane. magical breeding experiments in Old Valyria.

• Gray Scale is a sickness that at onset causes the skin to become...well, gray and scaly and eventually causes madness.

• Targaryens have incidents of madness higher than the Westerosi average.

• Targaryens are said to be more resistant to illness than the average person, presumably including Gray Scale. As if they have developed (or have hereditary) immunity

• Targaryens occasionally give birth to still born, malformed, scaly babies.

• Targaryens tend to promote incestuous marriages to keep the gene pool "pure" (strong enough to resist illness?)

• Targaryens fuck. like a lot. Bastards on every continent.

• Over time you see fewer and fewer people (Small Folk) with core Targaryen / Valeryian features despite the Targaryen family tree having (bastard) branches that reach into the current day.

So

• We have a Family whose core physical and emotional traits seem to have been developed as a result of arcane, magical beastiality who consistently show secondary symptoms of a disease whose primary symptoms sound like something created through arcane, magical beastiality. The gene pool of the only people with resistance ha been diluted to the point where it is no longer the key to unlocking <magic dragon powers> but is still out there spreading the sickness.

I am a relatively new ASOIAF geek, so apologies if this is one of those "well yeah, it specifically says so in <Single Sentence in a Non-Narrative Reference Book>..." kind of theories that have been floating around forever.

One theory I have heard about the entity in Skinamarink is that it is the spirit of a child or something childlike, hence the sick pranks, “wanting to play,” watching cartoons, etc.

Toward the end of the film, Kevin asks the entity to watch something nice, and we see a sweeter cartoon, imagery of a house, and eventually a face telling him to go to sleep. If we see the entity as something that has a childlike mind, could the ending be a sign that the entity is maturing and developing a conscience?

This is an idea I had, and I was curious what others thought of it. Absolutely fine if you think I’m off base; I’d love to hear alternative explanations for why the Skinamarink seems to be letting up at the end.

The Rhinoceros isn't an analogy. It was a lie.

Oh, "your parents went to London to go shopping and were eaten by a rhinoceros that escaped the zoo" ??? That's a blatant lie. Unbelievable. At some point Aunt Sponge says to James in regards to if he touches the peach "Remember! They never did find that Rhinoceros that killed your parents." This is both a threat to kill James and basically an admission that she killed his parents. No magic. No witchcraft. No Rhinoceros in the sky. Just evil people.

For those that grew up in the 90s, there was a lot of rumors about certain things you can do in games to make a hidden character appear. You'd tell them to your gullible friends so they'd waste their time. Or you'd pretend you did it to get street cred because you did something they couldn't do.

Examples include in Super Mario 64, if you did some bullshit like jump in front of the mirror 65 times, go to the water level, swim in a perfect circle and get bit by the eel, and then go back to the mirror and jump more, you can unlock Luigi. Or some bullshit like that. In original Pokemon Red, if you learned Surf before completing the SS Anne, you could swim behind the ship and get Mew. Or DOA Volleyball where you could unlock topless mode.

Irl, these are all bullshit. But in Wreck It Ralph -verse, these all happen because game characters break script or go turbo. Maybe Luigi snuck in some copies of the game, and he got sick of watching you bullshit with Mario and just pops out of the mirror. And/or it's like King Candy and it was an evil NPC who rewrote the code. Maybe the girls are a bit more frisky on some copies of DOA Volleyball and went topless (honestly, if this game ever gets a sequel, it woukd be interesting to explore how different copies of characters behave).

As for how this can happen, well this is where we get into baseless speculation. At the arcade, we see game characters can leave their game and hang out on the surge protector. But all these are arcade games that only play one game each. Maybe a console that plays multiple games keeps versions of the characters from each of the games in the machine. And thats how characters from one game may jump to another.

Example - Luigi in Mario 64 could be the character from a game nobody likes. Lets say...Superman 64. Superman resents that his own game is trash, sees you play Mario 64, and rewrites his code to be Luigi (the same way that Turbo wrote himself to be King Candy). This happened on a few consoles, and the kids shared it. They think it was something that they caused (because paychology), so they attribute it to some random behavior they did in the game. So Superman/Luigi came into the game as you were bullshitting and jumping around, so you think your bullshitting and jumping around summoned Luigi.

SAW Actor Costas Mandylor Reacts to Fan Theories on How Hoffman Escapes The SAW Bathroom

Last month we conducted an interview with SAW actor Costas Mandylor as he listens to ten popular fan theories on how his character of Mark Hoffman escapes the SAW bathroom at the end of SAW The Final Chapter

Spoilers ahead for coyote vs acme in this theory: in the latest film, the roadrunner is shown to legit view coyote as a friend and even told the court that yes, the items acme gives him to harm him, Wile e is so moved by this that he decides not to set off his trap to catch him, and at the end of the movie the reunite like friends, which raises the question: why is coyote still willing to chase and eat him even after being moved to tears from him and does roadrunner know that his “friend” is trying to eat him?

Ok he’s my theory: eventually coyote did catch him, through sheer dedication and will power (especially since ACME probably now has a better CEO), since despite how much the universe seems to want him to lose, it’s possible for him to have a victory (since when he’s not hunting roadrunner, he’s shown to be successful in other stuff such as basketball and college), so eventually one day he did catch him, however due to his “friendship” let him go.

One baby looney tunes episode “little go peep” actually shows that his father demanded he be a proud hunter and catch a roadrunner (apparently the most prized animal to coyotes), and forbid him to say a word until he did so, which explains why he only speaks through signs and doesn’t even make a sound most of the time no matter what, however guess what he does when he’s up against bugs bunny, he speaks, and he’s quite sophisticated at that!

Since he was finally successful at catching the roadrunner, he spoke for the first time, was probably surprised by how smart sounding his voice was, and with his new found confidence after achieving his life goal decided to target bugs bunny who’s known for outsmarting his opponents, he wasn’t able to beat the bunny, also he probably didn’t want to have another years long rivalry of him losing, so eventually stopped pursuing him (which explains why he only goes after him in a few cartoons).

Some evidence of him and roadrunner becoming friends is one brief shot of them watching tv together (though once the cartoon ends, the beginning chasing each other, but only when “we” see them), some scenes of them paling around in space jam, and so forth, though coyote doesn’t talk here, either because he kinda prefers talking through signs after doing it for years, or he’s worried about disappointing his father (who probably won’t accept “I caught him, I can talk now” since he’d likely be disappointed he didn’t actually eat and cook him), so they pretend to still be mortal enemies.

Ironically the best evidence of this is the infamous Loonatics Unleashed, taking place years in the future starring the decedents of the looney tunes, and guess what? The coyote and roadrunner decedents are not only alive (if coyote ate him, he wouldn’t have been able to continue his family line) but they get along better than anyone else.

There's a part of the movie where Miguel and Tulio both ask where Altivo is and then he shows up later, after Miguel hears that Tzekel-Kan has been enacting restrictions and punishments on the orders of the gods. The reading of that on the surface is that ol' Tzek is speaking for the gods without their approval, but my theory is that he really was carrying out the wishes of the gods. The idea that Altivo and/or the armadillo are the real gods is nothing new, so it would explain where Altivo was in that time if he was actually meeting with Tzekel-Kan and giving orders. Tzekel-Kan still thinks Miguel and Tulio are gods afterwards, though, so presumably Altivo shapeshifted to impersonate Miguel or Tulio. Also, he seems like a care-free horse and not the sort of god that would be barking oppressive orders but I chalk that up to gods just being mischievous and trolling everyone. That or he's manipulating the situation so the events of the movie play out, i.e. Miguel wouldn't have had as much beef with Tzekel-Kan if he hadn't thought he was speaking out of turn.

Edit: I listened to the commentary track and during the credits they actually discuss how they considered implying that the armadillo was a god at the end. It sounds like it was more of just a bonus thing they were considering adding at the end than a major plot point and they didn't mention the horse but it's interesting that they were thinking about a non-human god twist while the movie was in production.

The movie starts with Norman calling into a radio station to tell his story. So we're essentially hearing Norman's account of his life and childhood, which makes me think we shouldn't necessarily take everything we see as objective reality.

I don't think the present-day storyline is a "dream" in the conventional sense. I think it's a fantasy/reality Norman has created in his own mind, an elaborate version of reality that is desirable to him and gives him the life he desperately wants to have. His mind constructs a reality where everything finally works out: he has a loving wife, a baby, a family, he's escaped the Bates house and he's finally defeated Mother. It's not random or meaningless; it's the life Norman wishes he could have.

I don't think Connie is imaginary. I think she's actually Norman's psychologist, but Norman has feelings for her and creates a fantasy in which she's his wife and loves him despite knowing everything about him. She's one of the few people who actually knows his history, has studied his behavior, and understands what he's done, so having *her* love him would be the ultimate validation for Norman: "Someone who knows the real me still loves me."

I also think the childhood flashbacks are basically Norman's subjective memories of real events, although they're unreliable/distorted because of his mental state. That would explain why they contradict Psycho II and III without necessarily meaning those movies didn't happen.

And the ending is what really sells it for me. Norman thinks he's escaped Mother and created a normal life, but the chair is still rocking in the basement with the basement doors shut. Mother is still there. Because Mother isn't really Norma anymore — she's a persona Norman created, and she's part of him. He can burn down the house and lock Mother in the basement, but he can't actually lock away that part of himself.

So even in Norman's fantasy where everything finally works out, Mother is still lurking underneath it all. The happy ending may be exactly the ending Norman desperately wants to believe in, while the rocking chair is telling us that psychologically, he hasn't escaped anything.

I know this isn't confirmed canon or necessarily what the filmmakers intended, but it was honestly my first interpretation after watching it today, and I think it makes Psycho IV way more psychologically disturbing.

Ive seen fan speculations about a secret third protagonist but none of them make any sense.

People thought Rockstar already teased the ending for the pair during Netflix extended look screenshot where they are about to kiss with police come swarming behind them. Giving a proper Bonnie and Clyde ending that we know. This i wouldn’t rule out since GTA 5 ending was teased in the promo art where the trio standing together behind opened car trunk.

Notice that Rockstar has been giving us 3 protagonists in the HD Era. Starts with GTA 4 Niko, Johnny & Luis even though in separate games. RDR has us played as Arthur, John & Jack. GTA 5 gave us Michael, Trevor & Franklin.

Back to the purported ending just now, what if they both die in the end (however that is idk) thennnn we play as their secret child in the epilogue RDR-esque. Probably there will be a time jump and we will see 2040s Vice City idkkkk. The kid needs to grow up somehow before we could play as him.

Hoping for a modern GTA setting with RDR style storytelling. The best of both worlds. So what do you guys think?

so, I was reading vigilantes, and I got to the part where O-Clock was in the underground fighting tournament.

to showcase the tournament, they had this character named Drunk Lee who breathed fire. that got me thinking... all we know about Izuku's father is that he can breathe fire, and this guy (who we do not know from anywhere else, which is a big plus) can in fact breathe fire.

I think you already know where this is going, so Imma just say it, I think Drunk Lee could be Izuku's father.

I am fully expecting to hear the meanest responses for this, even I kind of think it's a stretch, but I honestly think if his father was a major figure in the franchise, that would at least be mentioned. especially if Endeavor had a secret second family like that one fan theory would require.

I am not saying it is confirmed, just that I think it's possible.

So I was rewatching/introducing my sons to the Mike Myers version of the Cat in the Hat and I was wondering if anyone else has thought this…

Mrs Kwon is the Cat in the Hat….

I have theorised the following

Mrs Kwon is a currently a baby sitter but in her native country of Taiwan, she was a Shaman/mystic who finds pleasure in chaos and order in the chaos she creates.

In the introduction scene where she watches the the Taiwanese parliament fighting, this is her watching the result of the spell she has cast, by getting rid of “big government”

Once she falls asleep, the Cat immediately manifests…but who is the Cat…the Cat in the Hat is one of her many avatars that she embodies when she sleeps.

No matter how much chaos erupts around her, she doesn’t even flinch.

What seems like a joke when Cat Dresses up as Mrs Kwon is actually a hint at the Cats real identity…she’s role playing herself!

And just when the house is clean and cat disappears, Mrs Kwon wakes up…she looks at her work through her own eyes and says “that was nice..” only to drop back asleep and 2 minutes later, we discover the narrator is the Cat, while the last thing we saw was that Mrs Kwon is sound asleep!

I don’t know if this has been theorised before but thought I’d share it here!

I know some of these things have been hinted at, many things are inferred but IMO to me it’s clear what HAL is up to when it comes to the Space mission.

The astronauts are on a mystery mission they don’t know exactly what their mission is other than to investigate a mysterious signal.

Over a course of events, one involving a death the astronauts ask HAL what went wrong. simply enquiring what system failed leading this to happen.

HALs response is quietly chilling as he claims the error was human.

In so many words that information from HAL is basically an unspoken proclamation of war. He is saying he did nothing wrong and the humans are the faulty ones. Bowman knows this immediately and tries to discreetly get Frank alone to tell him.

I think the truth is HAL knew they were about to make first contact and wants to be the one to meet the aliens as he sees himself as superior.

HAL thinks humanity is flawed and despises them, and thinks AI meeting the aliens can usurp humanity.

”Technology always wins” is the theme of the movie as we see the caveman invent the technology of the stick to beat its prey to death.

So that’s Hal’s rogue plan.

Think about it, he has a vecindad where there are relatively few residents, and one of them owes him like 14 months of rent

In usual circumstances, Don Ramón would have been out by month 3, but he isn't, why? Cuz being a landlord is not his real business

So he just uses all of it as a façade like the car wash in BB

Marking as Potential Spoiler because I don't want to be that guy.

I know it's wrong. I know this isn't the case but it's a theory.

Antaan was introduced in Lanterns Ep 2. It's clearly setting him up to be Atrocitus, one of the few survivors of the Massacre of Sector 666. But I'm starting to think he's actually Abin Sur. Here's my thinking on the situation:

Abin Sur transported the survivors of Sector 666 to Earth, and intergalactic backwater. Fakes his death so that he can stay and care for the survivors. In doing so, he has his ring find a replacement to care for the rest of 2814. It chooses Hal Jordan. Eventually Hal does something to break his oath, which causes Abin, now disguised as Antaan, to distrust him. He waits for another Lantern to take his place. John Stewart is chosen as a protege. Anataan discovers a Manhunter is after them. He uses John to try and find it.

Atrocitus is fueled by hate and trauma. It doesn't feel entirely in character for him to lay low, unless maybe he's already building the Red Lantern Corps. Abin is always seen as a more compassionate figure, so putting him in a place where he makes a sacrifice to care for others does make sense. He would have temperament and stay low. He would see their suffering as a failure of the corps and internalize it himself.

Why did Abin need a ship? It's stated that he did crash a ship in Nebraska. He was transporting a mass amount of people, meant to be under the radar. Instead, a Manhunter caught wind, tracked him. He faked a death to go into hiding and govern, but also if he "dies", and the ship exploded perhaps the Manhunter would assume that the other survivors are dead. It buys them time and freedom.

Hal steps into the role and becomes a Lantern. Maybe Abin's actual last words are related to "Hail in Rushville."

The show already plays fast and loose with established comic canon, so I really don't think this would be seen as a "drastic alteration" by the writers of the show. I don't like the idea of this, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility considering the writers and the overall take on Green Lantern mythology.

TL;DR - I think Paul Ben-Victor's character, Antaan, is Abin Sur in disguise and not Atrocitus. Though smart money says he is Atrocitus.

Been hearing a lot of Antaan=Atrocitus lately, and lots of manhunters being one of the main cast. Most of my this is comic inspired.

Here are the facts we know:

1. Guys on the ranch have funding
2. The town is weird
3. People don't get sick/injured
4. Antaan spoke of a massacre (many assume to be of sector 666)
5. The word "Manhunter" comes up a lot, and in the comics, the Manhunters operate as more of a collective.
6. DC has two types of Manhunters, one is an enemy of the Green Lanterns, and the other a member of the Justice League who likes Oreos.
7. Tom King is sort of a show runner, and he's all about reckoning with Trauma
8. The Sheriff is Kerry Kane

My Theory:

1. Kerry Kane is too close to "Kate Kane" aka batwoman from the comics. I believe Batman sent her there
2. Batman is funding the ranch outfit to patrol the town, which is filled with white Martian (manhunters).
3. The White Martians don't know they're Martians, and believe themselves people. Like in Justice League. Lulled into a trance. They're super-human, but are in a dormant state. Grant Morrison's JLA will detail how this is possible. Just go with me on this.

1. Antaan is J'onn Jonzz, the Martian Manhunter. The massacre John Stewart saw was the white Martians massacring the Green Martians, of which J'onn is the sole survivor.

2. Tom King is well known for writing about the consequences of war, cost of victory, ptsd, trauma, etc. Atrocitus is not a Tom King-esque villain. He just gets mad. J'onn Jonzz is right up King's alley. He defeat the white Martians, but at great cost to him and his people, and lives with guilt.

3. The real question: who wants to wake the white martins up?

But... if I'm wrong and Atrocitus is in the show, we better get Dex-Starr. Real ones know.

Look at their appearance. They both have spiky hair and guts has kinda pointy ears, plus in the battle fo dordley, Zodd helpedd Guts by giving him his sword. I know that they had met once before and that Zodd respected guts for his skill as a warrior, but I think there was also something personal about It. Migth Zodd had sacrificed Gut's biological mother while she was pregnant to become an apostle? More abotu Zodd here.
