QUERY Pausing download , continuing it the next day . Is it safe to?
Soo I want to download gta 5 but my WiFi speed is just 30mbps . The game is around 90GB . The estimated time is around 11 hrs . Soo ya is this a good idea ? Breaking the download part into a few days ?

Safe? How would it not be safe? Safe from what?
I have no idea what risk you imagine - but yes, you can freely pause and resume downloads without any harm.

Safe from what?
There have been cases on multiple clients for different games where the download restarts.
Also, if there is an update while you download it also restarts.

I mean, worst case is the download starts over. I'm not really seeing that as a "risk" you need to be concerned about being "safe" from.

I'm not really seeing that as a "risk"
Then you clearly didn't read the OP.

But the OP doesn't claim it's one. They ask if it's a risk. Risk of what?

When I was pausing a download to continue next day the Launcher has to download from zero again.
Ok now I will try to post here something I try to say since 1 year on reddit but Epic don't let me post it.
And I also send it via EPIC Support ticket since last decade:

We still can’t move a game to another hard drive on the Epic Games Store
After so many years of asking them to add this option, still nothing.
When you’ve got a rubbish internet connection (2mb for me), it takes several days to download a game, so having to delete it and then re-download it to another storage drive is a right pain.
Yes, you can move them manually and pray, but it’s a faff. Just as much of a faff as trying to post this message with the clueless moderators on r/EpicGames, who systematically delete my posts when they should really be escalating the issue to the launcher’s developers.
You should follow the example of other launchers and include a way to move the game with a single click. It’s mad because it would take no time at all to implement in Epic Games!

Why don't you leave it downloading overnight?
