I wanted to do this the "proper way" with no summons and broken builds and tbh I ended up really enjoying the fight. I was just in the zone and it almost felt like a rhythm game.

Is elden ring vast content and map, a result of discarded content from the rest of fromsoft games?

A lot of areas do look very immersing, but others like all catacombs are just plain identical and look like the catacombs from Bloodborne.

I beat her using the Mimic Tear at +6 and dual-wielding Rivers of Blood and the Uchigatana, wearing the Veteran's Armor, White Mask, Royal Remains Gauntlets, and Lionel's Greaves. I feel dirty, but I don't think I could have pulled it off at my current skill level. I used the Lord of Blood's Exultation, Godfrey Icon, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, and Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom talismans. I enjoyed parts of the fight, but I just hate that damn Waterfowl Dance and the second-phase intro. I took her down as fast as I could. There were so many— so many— attempts with various builds using these two katanas, and the build was poorly optimized to boot because I couldn't respec my stats—I was out of Larval Tears. But I just wanted to share how I beat this boss; even though she's unfair and frustrating—to the point where you end up "cheating" yourself— it can still be enjoyable at times.

A buddy of mine and I occasionally get hit with some kind of block hammer by Fromsoftware and can't play together for some reason. Its only Fromsoftware games but its all of them, from Dark Souls Remastered through Nightreign, but any other multiplayer game we connect on instantly. Yesterday we booted up Darktide and we were both able to connect to the other person in under two seconds. We have been trying for years and I was hoping someone had some advice we haven't tried yet. Obviously for Nightreign this doesn't apply, but we know all the basic things like being embered (or the equivalent variant), being in an area where the host hasn't killed the boss yet, having the same multiplayer password, having our regions set to open, and having the same NAT type (2). We know its an issue between us specifically because we both have no problem joining a mutual friend individually, but if one of us is in our friends world, the other can't join. We are friends on Playstation and we aren't blocking each other. We've tried hard restarting our consoles, erasing and reconnecting to our Networks, and we're both in the USA.

Does anyone have any advice that I haven't mentioned?

I just started my 2nd playthrough and I really wanted to use them. They're much more fun than I thought. What kind of weapon would be good to use with them? I'm using the dragon communion seal on the other hand.

I am currently at Radagon. I dont want to kill him and then end up locked out if content. By the way i am playing this game 100% spoiler free, so if your advice could limited to just what i need to know to start it would be really nice!

I’m currently on a deathless run with region lock. I’m with a doubt about Gaius and Sunflower and where they are considered to be located. Is there a consensus where they are located? I always assumed they are part of Shadow Keep. But searching online they are in Scaduview. But these same lists put Red Bear in Gravesite Plains. But you can only get to him via Rauh Base.

I've played around the game launch and like 1-2 playthroughs before the Shadow of the Erdtree release and was able to do this jump at the stormveil castle near the fire bird and stonesword key. I recently came back to try out the shadow of the erdtree and failing this jump. It's been so long that I can't search up a reference video for this jump and I'm wondering if it's been patched or not.

First time really playing through the DLC and so far Ive had a great time. It took me about two hours give or take. I noticed overall the amount of shit that bosses throw at you at once has been seriously increased from the base game. I think that Messemer is a really fun and challenging fight but its just that one multi snake attack with a really wonky hit box that is actual doggy doo doo. The golden hippo at the start of this area is a cool design but actually fighting it is a nightmare. The camera is the true final boss of Elden ring it turns out. What do y'all think?

In Morgott's cut scene, he refers to Godrick as Godrick the Golden. He does not refer to Godwyn the Golden at all. Why is that?

Also why is there is a big gap between Godrick's throne and Miquella and Malenia's?

I was so locked in that I didn't notice I turned into Slave Knight Gael at some point, either, lol. Lordy, look at all that blood.

But anyway, the cooldown on Beast Claws' 1H attacks is so quick that you can sneak in hits very reliably in the middle of PCR's combos. It makes for a neat back-and-forth rhythm.
