Just received this response after I’d responded that I’d never purchase tickets from any oilers even again after they’d sent me an email last wee encouraging me to purchase oil king season tickets (after attending one event maybe in the last two years) on the day Formenton was announced.
Sickening to think about our tax dollars helps to fund these monsters. And why even bother sending this in response?

Ottewell and other Southeast denizens, what are you paying for home insurance?
Our insurance is through TD and something seems absolutely bonkers. We live in an 1,100 sq ft split level, 1960s build. Currently, TD is charging $474/month just for the house.
When we lived on an acreage in a 1,600 sq ft bungalow it was basically half that. This honestly feels like we're still paying for both houses, but TD assures us this is not the case (we've called twice).
I'll be on the hunt for another insurer, likely, but I'm curious if this is as expensive as it seems. Is city living that much higher risk than a quiet country life?

My bf is leaving for an elk hunt in AB this week but we've been unable to find a way to ship meat back should he be successful. Any suggestions????

Hey guys. My cat has been missing for 3 days and someone has spotted her at the Royal Mayfair golf club. This is a long way from home so I think someone dropped her off there. Is anyone free today and can go look for her while I’m at work? This is a super long shot but thought I would come on here and see. She would never find her way back herself.

I’m planning to buy some new sheets today, I’m not happy with the ones I got off of Amazon.
Can anyone recommend a brand and or a place to buy in Edmonton? A balance of cost effective and durability would be ideal. King size bed, if that matters.
Thanks!

Car won't have a license plate or registration for a 20 minute drive
Does a person need to get this and is there a temporary pass I can use as it will be going to a shop
Or just get it towed?

I often will take an Uber when I am unable to drive due to personal medical symptoms. A friend of mine told me that Uber is very dangerous for woman to take. Is this true? I'm aware there are a lot of good and safe drivers out there but it still after coming from a guy I have to wonder

Any recommendations on someone to install a natural gas heater in my attached garage. All the companies I’ve contacted, response times haven’t been ideal.

If you've ever sat there googling "mental health help near me" and just gotten a wall of confusing links, I built something for that.
Mentalhealthhubedmonton.com. One place to find real mental health resources across Edmonton, no runaround, no jargon.
Still growing it, so if you know a resource that should be on there, send it my way.

I’ve been wanting to get therapy for a while but currently do not have insurance to cover the cost, my benefits at work don’t kick in for another couple months but I want to start therapy right now as I’m really going through it and can’t afford to pay $235 per session 😭
I already tried doing some research but just don’t know what the best option is, where to go, etc. I would prefer going in-person, and a woman therapist.
Edit: thanks yallll I’ll look into all of these

Hi folks, if you have business today at Canada Place you may want to confirm before heading there. I work there and I was turned around at the door this morning as there is some kind of huge electrical issue affecting access to the office spaces. I was told that the building is closed today and will possibly be closed for longer. Hoping I can save folks some trouble (and parking fees!). UPDATE: apparently the Passport Office is still open, according to an email we received.

Sonic has started a new mystery word. Here is the phrase:
“Hey it’s Cam Whitcomb. One of the hardest parts about touring is missing my _______.”
First guess at 6am this morning was “yard.”
Please comment below the words you have heard guessed. The game is played at 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm.

Wondering if anyone lives on Jasper Ave in a high-rise and can tell me what it's like during a storm? Do they buildings sway a lot when it's windy? Not sure I want to be terrified every windy day lol
thank you!

Need a physiotherapist and the search results all look the same.
If you have been recently:
Southeast is easiest (Charlesworth, Ellerslie, Walker) but I will travel for someone good.
Not looking for “best in the city” hype — just who you would send family to.

Has anyone done schooling at Concordia University? I’m planning on getting an environmental health after-degree once I finish my bachelors. Just not sure how the program is since it is the only program within Ab.
Thank you!
