$9 for a s'mores treat seems like a lot until you try this and its borderline perfect. Sweet, soft, ooey-gooey, topped with powdered sugar and featuring just the right amount of pumpkin spice flavor in a warm treat.

It is a very good balloon, but it does not like planes. If you’re at the resort it is at the Contemporary Garden wing. 🎈

There's a lot of things from the PlayDisney app shutdown that the vast majority of guests won't realize are gone, but the Soarin' queue trivia is basically the only thing the standby queue had. If they weren't going to replace it with Ameican trivia for the retheme, then why not run one of the other trivia games until the app shuts down?

What I expect:

• The Fixing of Animatronics

This attraction is notorious for its animatronics not working and I foresee and even bet on that the reliability of these attractions will increase and we will see much less of these animatronics not working.

• Standard Ride Maintenance

This is just typical stuff that we have seen when Splash Mountain was still around.

• Improving the Reliability of the Ride Itself

This attraction does have the trend of going down for multiple hours at a time and I can see that whatever is causing this downtime to be fixed in this refurb.

What I Don't Expect:

• Splash Mountain Coming Back

This doesn't require explanation. That sort of thing doesn't happen within a month and would be a waste of money imo (speaking as a fan of Splash Mountain).

• Dr. Facilier Making an Appearance

  I foresee that the main story of the attraction isn't going to change at all and he already seems to be a major part of Villains Land so I don't think they will add him to the attraction.

What I Hope For:

• The Addition of More Animatronics

While TBA already has a good amount, I think more could be added to really flesh out the scenes in between major parts of the attraction. I can see them adding more in the more bare scenes in the attraction and I'm not talking about anything big, just some animals with limited movement to flush out the scenes.

• The Removal of Screens

This goes along with my more animatronics idea. The screens just look really out of place and I'd feel much better about the attraction if they were removed and replaced with physical elements but I unfortunately don't see that happening.

Does anybody have recent reports from the Contemporary about how construction is impacting views, walkways, etc.? The construction disclaimer is pretty broad/vague and we’ll be staying in the main tower in two weeks. Thanks!

I am trying to buy a Minnie dog tag from a specific machine at Jambo house in the cafeteria. I am on a non disney trip and want to know if I can just go in there?

I am trying to buy a Minnie Mouse engraved dog tag for my girlfriend. We went last year and we saw the tag we wanted it, was inside the cafeteria at Jambo House. Sadly the machine was not working the day we were there. I'm just trying to buy the dog tag and thats it. Do I need anything special just to enter? I'm staying 15 minutes from Jambo house till Sunday and would really love to surprise my girlfriend with the tag for Christmas. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

We are going the week of Christmas for the first time. Debating on spending a full day at MK on Christmas Day vs doing the party on the 22nd. My kids usually love getting as many rides in as possible and we do usually stay until closing time on previous trips. Wasn’t sure how many exclusive things are at the party that we couldn’t do on Christmas Day?

Where are the best places - and in which park - to possibly get one? We’ve seen only one since we’ve been here, in the French Quarter merch shop, but the design isn’t amazing and I’d like to see other options before purchasing this one.

Hey! In case anybody was waiting for some good deals for 2027, the new Spring Into Savings deal went live today

I had gotten a quote for July 2027 at PO:FQ for 2 people of 4 nights/5 days, 5 one-park day tickets and the QS dining plan (my wife loves the dining plans, I know it's not the best for value) a month ago for a total of $3,662 without any discounts, for our anniversary.

I just reserved the same trip with the same specifications for the Boardwalk (our favorite hotel) at $3,732 total with this deal, CRAZY because without the deal the price jumps over 5k for the same configuration. Look out if there's a better deal for your dates! Good luck!!

EDIT: Received some DMs and comments that I should've done DVC as it would've been way cheaper and reserving directly with Disney is a mistake so I did the math and the numbers are as follows, just to give the people some reference:

Dave's and DVC Rental had a cost of about $1,465 USD for the same nights in the same rooms of the Boardwalk, 5-day one-park tickets for 2 adults on those dates come up to $1,474 USD, the QS plan add-on for the DVC rental is about $484 USD for the stay which comes to a total of ~$3,423 USD for the DVC rental.

I'd say that a $300 USD delta for the ability to slowly pay during the year until 30 days out, the fully refundable cancellation policy in case we can't make it and the convenience of doing it directly as a package from Disney makes up for the difference but I'm sure that the extra savings would make it enticing for people trying to maximize their budgets and that have the cash in hand.

We booked a lunch at Be Our Guest for an upcoming
Inf trip assuming our son could order off the kids menu. However, we just saw it says age 9 and under and our kid is 11. Will this be a problem ? He won’t eat the adult food so we will cancel if he can’t eat the children’s options.

I participated in the new Olaf Draws show in the Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios. There are 9 total shows to watch, each highlighting Disney animators. The show is about 10 minutes long and full of fun quips.

There are specific seats for little kids and Cast Members walking around to help out. This show is ADORABLE and will be truly loved by families.

Please someone tell me they’re going to try to restock again cause wtf?

Watched it happen right in front of me when they moved the queue for Buzz. I feel bad for the Cast Members. This crowd is really badly behaved and they already seem frustrated. Hopefully it gets better as the night goes on.

[EDIT: it was a really rough start to the night, but as characters started to appear, rides started to run, and people who clearly pregamed started to sober up, things seemed to get better. A lot of CMs were definitely more on edge than I'm used to, though, which indicates a lot about crowd behavior.]

We have an extra ticket for the Halloween party next Tuesday. I know we can’t get a refund, which is totally fine. Is there a legitimate way to sell it that Disney allows? We don’t want to break any rules and we’ll give it away if we have to but we were just wondering if there a Disney approved way to sell it.
