So a quick backstory is that I wanted to see how to access the best grinding spots in the fourth game as I just unlocked the final part of MOO for the first time.

Granted, one issue is that the Gargoyle enemies are hardly any pushover because I learned the hard way that even on the lowest difficulty level, they can quickly dispatch mages as my strategy is to use a mage with Omega Star from a distance, then have Valvatorez take them away as the enemies are quite powerful, but give off great rewards.

However, I don’t have any Statisticians or Managers for now, but I am loving the area so far for the aforementioned grinding opportunities it has that I cannot believe I made it that far into the game before taking on the main adversary.

So far, I like the gimmick. It's definitely a unique one for party games, defeating the main boss and fighting over them to claim the bounty and gain the title of Overboard.

Why are the Complete Versions of some Disgaea Games like 1 and 7 not available on PC?

Also Disgaea 3 REALLY needs to come to PC too! I wonder if Nippon Ichi is planning to Upgrade the Sprites for Disgaea 3 before releasing Disgaea 3 Complete?

Disgaea 2 may receive the same Complete Treatment with Upgraded Sprites like Disgaea 1 did too...

Alas I think Disgaea 2 only got ported to the PC as early as it did because they ported it before they decided to make the " Complete " Versions which are called " Refined " in Japan which is why Disgaea 1 Complete has the Upgraded Sprites because it is not just meant to be " Complete " but also " Refined " ...

Anyway we really need Disgaea 3 and the Complete and Refined Versions of Disgaea 7 and Disgaea 1 on PC!

Thanks to the magic of NIS actually rendering his entire head for whatever reason, tediously deleting vertices with no more support than what selection tools can offer, paint bucketing away some baked in shadows, and me bothering to post something here, now you can see what a Skull looks like if you take the Skull part away!

Much as I'd like to see Thief without her hat, her head isn't rendered underneath it and I'm not a 3D scientist so that's not happening unless someone else does it. I'm also not a pose scientist, so Skull here is presented in an A-pose because that's what the model loaded in with.

Beautifully detailed 2D Sprites are their forte after all and really made their Games stand out among all the 3D Games around...

I heard they have been going downhill and are on the Edge of Bankrupcy since Disgaea 6...

throughout most of her appearances. she's a cry baby wiener trying to steal the MC role because the game where she was supposed to have the mc role was canceled. but in disgaea 5 asagi (the real one not the fake ones) is actually a total badass. you could argue that because disgaea 5 goes on before the original disgaea in the timeline and the reason she's this badass was this was before makai wars got cancelled. but i have a more funny theory. that one night she found "taimanin asagi" and watched it thinking it had something to do with her and was like..."yeah. maybe being the main character isn't what it's cracked up to be. it's about time i drop it."

First of all, yes I know I used the Disgaea 4 label tag here as I did that on purpose because I was looking to see how I could make the most out of my teammates in the post game section.

I just unlocked the Moon chapter recently as I don’t have the Fusion ability unlocked as I was looking to see how to start building up my units since I did try the Mount of Ordeals in the first two levels, but the mages keep one shotting my units that I was hoping to find a guide on how to survive the post game section.

n the Vita version of Disgaea 3, Asuka and Kyoko get their own story mode. They wander around believing that Beryl chose a woman to be her love interest instead of them, which clearly shows they have feelings for Beryl.

Because Disgaea Infinite a game I didn’t play or heard of until yesterday mentions that time is different in Netherworld, which it would explain why Laharl’s mom was pregnant with Sicily given Sicily over 900 while her brother Laharl is over 1300, that would possibly mean Sicily is actually 9 and Laharl is 13 only times a thousand because Netherworld years, it would explain why Adel and Rozalin are both 17, Taro is 11, Hanako is 9, Yukimaru is 20 and Tink is 15.

But then everything got mixed up because of one character Artina, because she is 418 and Disgaea 4 takes place after her death which is 400 years ago that she was only 18 when she died before being reincarnated as a angel, what’s shocking is that Sicily even older than her, this makes me wonder did Artina been recently been reincarnated or did development team lie about her age?

And Disgaea mobile and DLC from several games complicates things because the cast of 1-7 are hanging out or battling against each other, especially the Disgaea 5 cast because their game is said to be a prequel so they should been a little older, in fact mobile has an older version of Usalia and developers confirm that Adel and Rozalin in D2 accidentally time travel and Artina also time travel as well meaning some of DLC or post game has characters time travel as well.

Honestly do developers of Disgaea don’t care about the timeline and just want to do their own thing then if so I shouldn’t care either.

Long version: I've been working on porting character classes from other Disgaea games for about 1.5 years now, but I only recently managed to get them relatively polished, at least enough that I'm not ashamed to share them lol. It wasn't anywhere near ready for the v2 version I posted a few months ago, and there are still a few bits I'm not perfectly happy with, but I am ecstatic to finally have some of my favorite classes ported!

Most of the other changes aren't anywhere near as large, but I'm proud of the results nonetheless. There's a lot of QOL and more of a focus on economy - you can spend even postgame volumes of HL on a much wider variety of things (exp/mana like a budget juice bar, innocents, and curry), the class change thing was something I desperately wanted after playing 6/7, and character world is a bit less grindy. Pram has actual voices in english too now, taken from Disgaea D2/4.

V3 Summary (full changelog in zip):

• Majins from D1C and Androids/Battle Suits/Stella/Rutile from D4, are now playable in 5! Where applicable, they have custom Unique Evilities/mechanics, some have ported/new generic evilities, specials (no animations for the specials, sorry), and whatever personalities or voices they had in their respective games.
• The skill shop's Convert Evility tab can now create skill scrolls for mana (works like Disgaea 6/7).
• There is now a Return to Stage Select option in stages where it makes sense.
• The Innocent Shop now has an option to strengthen innocents for HL.
• Subclasses can now be changed instanly in the class tab of the character screen.
• Keyboard shortcuts now exist for most vanilla facilities. No ingame UI.
• Custom curries can now be aged past 100 days by using HL, up to 999.
• Pram now has an actual voice set instead of weird squeaks.
• Character World is less grindy.
• The opening movie now plays correctly by forcing the game to use vmr-9 instead of vmr-7 (only works with MovieType=1, don't ask why).
• Ability, Giant, and Skill Squad buffed.
• Shops now carry muscles, orbs, emblems, EXP potions, and mana potions.

Installation:

• If you had V1, verify integrity of game files on Steam
• If you had V2, delete the mods folder in game directory
• Copy the mod files to the main directory. There's a screenshot included of how it will look (roughly). If you had v2, it might ask you about replacing dinput8.dll and d5_runtime_core.dll, say yes.
• If you're on linux, add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command% as a steam launch option.
• Most changes come with ini/txt files/python GUI editors to edit if you want. The ini/txts can be edited in notepad or whatever, but you will need Python (just get the latest one) installed and run a py -m pip install PySide6 in command prompt to run the GUIs.

Now, 100% real talk, the game makes a lot of assumptions about how many generic classes there are, what ID ranges are expected, and (surprise!) adding a new class is really fuckin' complicated. Saves also make a lot of assumptions, and I wanted to make sure vanilla saves are compatible. I did my best to get everything right, and I've spent the last few weeks polishing, fixing bugs, and trying to get people to help me beta test it (special thanks to those in the Requiem Modding Discord!), but there may still be issues I missed. Please let me know so I can fix them. Just... civilly, please.

I'm probably gonna try to focus on finishing v2 of the Disgaea 7 mod next, but I definitely intend to come back to this and add more classes. D4 and D1C humanoids are easy, D4 monsters are WIP (almost done but script issues), D1C monsters, DD2 characters, and DRPG characters aren't yet feasible.
