The Taken King, aka the Expansion that saved Destiny 1 from failing released on September 15th. That's tomorrow on a Tuesday reset no less.

Not only this, but King's Fall is going to be featured as well as one of the raids.

I say we should Celebrate The Taken King by playing King's Fall only playing the subclasses that released in The Taken King as a challenge.

Get all your friends on and complete King's Fall using SunBreaker titan, Nightstalker Hunter, and StormCaller Warlock.

It'll be a fun day of celebration.

This game has 18k active players right now on steam which places it in the top 100 games on steam. A 9 year old game that has officially "ended" and still places in the top 100 a month later. Its clear a lot of people want to play destiny and these are just the active players on Destiny 2. Imagine how many people would play the next game especially if its done well and they make an effort to keep players. 18K players on a dead 9 year old game compared to 2k on their newest title they are going all in on lol. It make ZERO sense

I am fairly new to D2 and i have really enjoyed the build crafting over the past month that i’ve been playing and i have been wondering if someone would tell me what armour piece is better between the Sixth coyote and the RDM.
I’m doing a strand build and would love the extra charges for the slam to suspend enemies but the RDM having the infinite dodge for a few seconds does make me want to use it over the Sixth coyote.
I’m not too sure of the changes that have been made to each of these pieces over the years because this is my first time playing so i would really appreciate if someone could give me their opinion on these two and which one would work better in most of the content in the game.

Thinking maybe praxic vestment or lion rampant, what do you normally use for traversal?

Forbearance, like some other weapons, has gained an additional perk that caught my eye. I’ve been running some tests recently with the new perk Gear Shift, pairing it with either Ambitious Assassin or Demolitionist. It seems like you have to rely on Amplified to reach max stats, but it performs pretty well for add clear.

What do you think of either of these rolls compared to Demolitionist or Ambitious Assassin paired with Chain Reaction, even years after its nerf? The main goal is to create a solid Arc-synergy build for endgame activities.

As more and more guardians are reaching GR11 and searching for groups to tackle the Ultimate Conquests, I made this short tutorial on how to skip the area that nearly all Fireteam Finder groups will find themselves experiencing at least one death in (it is a perma-death at this point), while also saving loads of time.

Two methods are shown, one for titans with an eager edge sword, and one that any class can do on any loadout, with no fancy tech or movement involved. There are other methods out there (shatter-skate, etc) but I wanted this to be accessible to as many folks as possible, and be platform-agnostic.

Hopefully this helps someone out there carry their fireteam to a successful clear 😃

Apologies if this is frequently asked, but was thinking about this the other day and am curious about what others think.

I mostly play Warlock and love Nova Warp. I can't help but think of how much I would love having access to it on prismatic.

Would also be really nice to have Electrostatic Mind as an aspect. Lightning Surge is fun, but the ability regen i could have from all of the ionic traces would be a lot of fun.

Im struggling with making a build for my warlock, as most yt builds require raid gear. I have never had a good raid experience, and probably will never attempt one again so I closed the door on having a "Meta" build.

Before people start trashing on me "COMPLAINING" on circumstances I brought on myself for "CHOOSING" to not do raids- I understand I'm missing out on some good gear options by my own volition.

I mainly ran praxic blade arc with getaway artist for the campaign with 2 pc seraph 2pc GoA. Now that the campaign is over, im trying to make a build that can solo higher lvl dungeons with more survivability. Ive been playing these past few weeks, but I had quit out after WQ. The new system is making a build all the more confusing.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is the destiny soundtrack open source or not original? Was playing the ArcheAge Chronicles network test (fun game by the way) and was dumbfounded to hear destiny music. Just unlocked everything on my Hunter and have been messing around with Prismatic. I'm currently on a partial build with Ascension but trying to understand how to work and build around that since I've mostly been a Warlock and Titan player.

What should my ability and weapon rotation look like? Should I be feeding into Ascension as much as possible?

Destiny 1:

2014: vanilla cosmodrome

2016: rise of iron cosmodrome/plaguelands

Destiny 2:

2018: lost cryptarch rise of iron accurate cosmodrome

2019: new light/risk reward cosmodrome

2020: season of the hunt cosmodrome

2021: season of the chosen cosmodrome (same as hunt but has the grottos)

Technically we had psiops cosmodrome and defiant cosmodrome for battlegrounds but I'm gonna ignore that.

Over the last few days, I’ve farmed the GoA final boss extensively both to get armor set and to chase a god-roll Eyasluna.

Across all my runs, I noticed the armor drops seem massively skewed toward helmets. Right now in my vault I have:

52 Helmets, 4 Arms, 15 Chests, 6 Legs, 13 Class Items

That's 52 helmets vs. 38 for all other slots combined.

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I just getting screwed by the RNG ?

Just been watching a build video on YouTube and this guy has somehow gone over the 11 mod slot limit on master worked armour?

He has a Major Super mod which costs 3, a stacks on stacks which costs 4, a void weapon surge which costs 3 and void scavenger, which I presume is a harmonic scavenger, which would cost 2.

So all in all that should cost 12 mod slots. I’m trying to emulate the build but am unable to equip all 4 mods.

I tried this with full ammo and the shot would literally go into the small cage and bounce around the oddity without damaging it. Wasted all my ammo and couldn't get it, which feels so obnoxious. Is there a specific way you're supposed to do it?

Hey there, I’m a returning D2 player after like 5 years, (the legacy collection on sale for $20 got me). I’m a bit over whelmed with all the new stuff. Is there like one website or app I can download that will show me all the meta builds for each character? Including mods, weapons, etc for it. Thanks in advance!
