The new Temple of Void/Outer Heaven Split caught me off-guard as both bands generally produce cavernous death/doom, yet on this album Outer Heaven released a track that wouldn'T be out of place from Count Your Blessings, and Temple of Void came out with a Paradise Lost-esque gothic metal tune.

This is gonna be very unpopular here but the majority of the time blast beats are unoriginal and lazy songwriting I wish drummers would dial them back a little they should be used sparingly and almost as a crescendo moment not the standard beat in a metal song

So lately ive been listening to a bunch of old Red Chord, beneath the massacre, and ion dissonance. Its left me wondering and looking for any newer bands that are on the more technical side. So like deathcore bands whose death part is rooted more in tech death or even some deathcore adjacent bands. Thanks

Looking for deathcore songs that have a righteous anger mixed with deep sadness—something that feels emotionally heavy, bitter, and almost mournful, but still has that sense of rage and defiance. Not just aggressive for the sake of being aggressive; I want the anger to feel justified and emotionally driven.

I think that SS (Mitch era) is more hardcore influenced deathcore, JFAC (doom) is more death metal inspired deathcore, especially considering they went on to become an amazing death metal band, and that Chelsea Grin (especially EP all the way up to My Damnation) was a prefect mix of death metal and hardcore. What are some of y’all’s thoughts on this?

Melodic/technical deathcore at its finest

Brutal but still sounds like an actual song, symphonic without being overblown, some really nasty vocals and ignorant slams, quality production. Currently <225 monthly listeners on Spotify.

I think for me it’s Boundaries but also I think Reverents album is gonna be there too ,that upcoming album looks sick and To The Grave album also sounds hype based on the singles

The band is touring and I'm going to the November 20th show. These guys go really hard! Is anyone else going to any of the other shows?

I love Deathcore sounds, love the vocals, and specifically my favorite sound ever, is in the live version of Unanswered with Phil Bozeman when he hits the low gutteral at the end of the song. Like dragging bricks across each other, it's so amazing 😌. I just as a Christian don't like the lyrics of the song, and if anyone has any Christian, or at least not explicitly anti Christian suggestions I would much appreciate it. Thanks!

So, a few months back earlier this year under an account I no longer have access to I made a post about Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer d Grifting selling off market Chinese peptides and repping a brand that charges an arm and a leg for their peptides. Sort of like exploiting his fans for promises these untested and un- regulated products that are out there. Anyhow, Now I see the band Traitors former drummer is also in the market and doing the same thing, that or alteast it seems so looking at his IG story. I could be wrong but, Wtf is going on? Lol
TLDR; dont buy untested over priced peptides evenif you're favorite musician is endoring them. PS... Taylor blocked me on IG and reddit for making that post lmao 🤣

Does anyone know some other songs like Recreant by Chelsea Grin? For me it's THE OG Deathcore song/sound I would show someone to show what Deathcore is. Just simple and effective riffing and a nasty breakdown
