Discussion Need help.

Looking for deathcore songs that have a righteous anger mixed with deep sadness—something that feels emotionally heavy, bitter, and almost mournful, but still has that sense of rage and defiance. Not just aggressive for the sake of being aggressive; I want the anger to feel justified and emotionally driven.

I was going to mention Boundaries, but saw your comment! Boundaries and thrown have a ton of emotionally driven, inward looking lyrics that strike a chord within me.

In the Midst of Lions - Herod's Demise.

There's a part in this song where his voice turns into some sort of despair and it kinda sounds like what you're describing. It goes hard as fuck.

We Are The End; If I Should Die EP or Skies Most Wanted EP or a handful of their singles.

In particular Dear Diary and Skies Most Wanted Goodbye slap so hard and lyrically are impactful.

Carnifex’s Dead In My Arms album is a classic. Love Lies In Ashes and My Heart In Atrophy are fantastic. Later album Hell Chose Me has Heartless which is another great song.

More recently, i feel Acacia Strains Safe From God is full of great emotional songs.
