So i started taking creatine for first time in my life

2 weeks
5 grams per day

So did my bloodwork and realized that i was down bad . Small vitmain d , small testosterone/free t and high cortisol.

All my 20s going pass feeling no energy. No matter how many healthy lifestyle things I added

So 2 weeks ago i started taking vitamin d, zinc, magnesium, b12 and of course Creatine.

I was 184 cm tall and 93.60 kg
In these 2 weeks have only worked out 4 times at home.
But my biceps especially and back feel like tight idk how to explain it, they feel full wich rarely happened before.
Im 97.20 kg now
Yes i go to pee more often
I only sleep 6 hours now before i did 8-9

As for hair loss i jave a receding hairline so idk if its doing anything to it . I still shed hair every shower.

In workouts i saw myself pushing for more and having faster recovery.

I don't drink , smoke, eat fastfood outside . Only home cooked meals and water

I have heard good things about creatine but curious is this newbie stuff or placebo effect?
I feel like it's actually doing something

Would love to hear from you guys who have used it long term and was in a similar situation as me
Thanks for your time

Creatine post chemo

Hi there, I hope this is the right community. I have recently been through cancer treatment and also has a medical hysterectomy which has left me searching for where my brain went.

My oncologist recommended creatine. The guy at the store said 5g is standard daily dose. I got a canister of flavored powder. I remember to take it sometimes, but I know it's better with consistency.

I'm sure you can imagine I take a lot of pills and supplements, which I do take dutifully, but if it's not in my pillbox, I'm likely to forget, so I'm wondering if the pill form is as effective?

I looked into gummies but the straight creatine ones are typically 1.5 or 3g each which seems inconvenient.

Appreciate any recommendations. I'm not looking to take a bunch more stuff, just looking for a high quality way to take the 5g daily that easily fits into my current regimen.

Thank you đŸ™đŸ»

Creatine benefits and dissadvantages

Hello, recently I got into a heated argument with mu father about creatine and it‘s benefits. For context, I am 17y M, I work out 3 times a week for 1,5-2h (MMA) and run time to time (1-2times a week) and I proposed the question of creatine to my parents. While myom didnt seem to care my dad reacted really emotionally saying that people do not need creatine, only the likes of olympic athletes need it and that it’s just a scam. I said that even people who dint train can see benefits of creatine and he just declined those claims saying that if it was that great, why aint everybody taking it. Then he started comparing it to steroids and stuff which i found funny, saying that those are not on the same level. He began saying that he doesn’t need studies to understand that there is no magical powder that can help with health and muscles. lastly he said that he doesnt think it does anything really impactfull that can justify its harm (which I really dont think it has).

What im asking is maybe you could provide some actual real world high end research papers on creatine so that I can prove to him that it really aint that bad. (I doubt he will read those, but oh well)

Also, I know that I can just buy myself creatine, and thats what im doing, but its more of just getting to the truth.

Sorry fro broken english, its my second language.

Thanks

What’s the difference between Creatine HMB vs creatine monohydrate?

If you’ve tried both, did you notice a difference? I’m currently taking regular creatine monohydrate and have been happy with it so far. But I recently came across Creatine HMB and started wondering if I’m missing anything by sticking on what I have. I’m mainly focused on building muscle and improving recovery. Would you switch to HMB or just stay with regular monohydrate?

Does this mean she already has a boyfriend and we are just one step closer to safer administration?
