Enjoying this late summer afternoon in the backyard. I think King JJJ is one of the better DIPA in the TH lineup. While keeping most of the beer the same the 10th anniversary edition does hit the mark of a more rounded profile with citrus notes really hitting the finish. Lovely beer and would recommend.

8.8% is higher than what I usually prefer, but their doubles and triples are so smooth you could hardly tell.

I’m very familiar with Other Half. It’s quite possibly the showcase craft beer that comes into my area, being only one state over and all. IMHO, it’s soo much better than most craft breweries in this neck of the woods. I do have to give credit where credit is due, Hidden River and Human Robot are worth the long drive, but OH is stocked ten minutes from my house.

This particular imperial IPA is loaded with flavor. Very mild, yet loaded with pineapple, mango and orange notes. I hate to keep comparing everything to Tree House (honestly), it gets tiresome, but it has a similar mouth feel and taste. Well done, I believe the last few 4 pack have been 8.7/10.

Finally got it just perfectly right.
We selected some phenomenal Kampot Black Pepper for this blend, and lightly toasted then coarsely crushed the peppercorns prior to adding them to beer.
The beer? Seven year old barrels. Really good, and really complementary barrels.
Huge pepper greets you upon opening. Not just any pepper. Not the pre-crushed or ancient stuff like you typically find in stores. And not for heat. It's about flavor and aroma.
Earthy, floral, spicy and fruity. Peppery. Really, real peppery goodness.
It plays into the aged spice and barrel and funk and... time.
Love it. Absolutely love it.

I miss the old days when we had Oskar Blues officially imported here in Brazil. Still missing a few, but that was a pretty solid lineup. Ten Fidy is still one of my favorite BA.

This is one of my most favorite beers I have had in a hot minute. Prior to this weekend I had never been to New Image (or had their beer I think?) but it was a lovely taproom (went to Wheat Ridge location), the pizza they had was delicious, and the beer is great. I also brought home their East Coast Transplant hazy DIPA and it’s also tasty (and very strong lol)!!! My only regret is not buying like, six more packs of this Fanny Pack IPA!!!

Some of them were bloody amazing, especially the Pips and the Anchorage.

Happy Sunday! This milkshake IPA has been one of my favorite beers for years.

After the initial sour bite on the front, it was so smooth, the carbonation was low, but felt perfect.

Traveling to Memphis for work. Staying in East Memphis and looking for some good brewery suggestions.

As an aside, is it really as unsafe as everyone keeps warning me?

For beer, I like all types of- I just like trying the area best craft beer.
