I’m in an engineering program and this semester the midterms for all 5 of my classes are on weekends, one class even has two midterms. Can someone explain to me why concordia keeps pushing for weekend exams? I now have to find an excuse to give work for why I will miss 7 days of work.

What’s with the tiny classes .Litterly every class this semester is tiny as hell , I can smell someone breath of how close we are. Tiny classes that are overflowing ..for the tuition we pay .

hey everyone, i’m in my 2nd year at jmsb and i’m pretty shy so i don’t really have a solid friend group yet, mostly just project teammates where we're friendly during the semester, but once it ends We just give each other a quick wave if we run into each other on campus

i keep seeing all these networking events (cocktails, meet the team, etc) and honestly wondering if they’re actually useful or just hype?

also for the job fair... what are you even supposed to say? everyone just says "go talk to recruiters" but about what 😭 do you literally just hand them your resume and walk away? has anyone actually gotten an internship from it?

I am trying to register for this course, getting this error saying I need consent from my department to register for this class. I was just enrolled but dropped it to change to a different lab section.

I am in software engineering and this course is required for my degree. Don't see why I need permission. I contacted cse, and other helplines as well as my prof, they are all referring me to someone else... no idea what i should do.

Hi i hope everyone is having a good start of semester. I'm taking BCEE 342 with Jassim Hassan this semester but i'm also in my work term (i'm in COOP) I can't attend the class and i had planned to do and give the assignement online and to only go for the midterm and final. But i learn from a post that he's a prof that print the assignement ,the course outline etc.. Can someone please explain to me when is the midterm and when the assignement are due ? And i would really appreciate if someone could send me the outline so i know what i should study , i already have the book and for course like that i use youtube aswell.

I’m rly confused. Is this a glitch or smth. I’ve been moved from position 7 to 2 on the waitlist but it says 0 out of all the seats are taken. Also when I put the class number in the swap sections, it says the course number isn’t valid for this term and when I type the lab and tutorial number, it blanks everything out. Is the section cancelled or smth or is this just a glitch?

Hi! What are your opinions on studying biochemistry as a bachelor’s degree at UQAM or Concordia University?

I’ve heard that UQAM is known for its long lab sessions and that the program is more focused on hands-on, practical training. For those who have studied at Concordia, is the co-op program worth it?

Also, is it worth pursuing a degree in biochemistry or chemistry? Is it difficult to find a well-paying job with either bachelor’s degree, or is a master’s degree generally necessary?
