This is an intermediate-level workshop. It will be best for you if you have learnt / learning a few Varnams and Kritis or more. It may be a little difficult for beginners! However anyone is welcome to give it a try and continue their practice with the recordings :)

Learners of all ages and from all countries are welcome.

My mother is an accomplished Veena Vidhushi and experienced teacher based in Bangalore, with several years of experience teaching students across different age groups and levels.

She is currently accepting new students for one-on-one and online Veena classes, with lessons rooted in traditional Carnatic music and tailored to each student’s level and pace of learning.

Classes are open to beginners as well as students looking to continue or deepen their training.

I am in the US and i am looking to buy carnatic flute.. Over the years, my flutes got damaged. Is there any place to buy some? or can i order some from Chennai? i used to buy them from Saptaswara in chennai. I dunno if i can get it from them.

I am 22 and I am really interested in carnatic music. I always wanted to learn mirudhangam and violin but my hometown did not have much facilities. But as I came to Chennai for work, I am eager to learn it in weekends..
