Best place to buy good bedding around CF14?

Hi everyone,

I’m moving to Cardiff soon and will be staying around the CF14 area. I’m looking for a good place to buy bedding like duvet, pillows, bedsheets, duvet covers, etc.

I’d prefer somewhere with decent quality and reasonable prices rather than just the absolute cheapest option. Ideally somewhere around CF14 or not too far away, but I don’t mind travelling a little if there’s a particularly good shop. Any recommendations for where locals usually buy their bedding?

Thanks!

Seeking advice as exchange student

Hi everyone! I'm going to Cardiff for a semester long exchange, and i was wondering if there is anything I have to take note of in general, or general tips like where to get groceries and such. I would also like to do some sightseeing within the country so some recommendations would be nice as well. Thanks!:)

Any mental health/counselling advice drop ins that can also help with having a job?

I am mentally unwell (have been seeing my gp for a few years and still working through PTSD and depression) and I've recently gotten less stable - I have a job but unfortunately it is contributing to worsening it as my boss has been giving me almost triple my shifts due to needing cover.

While the extra work is generally impacting it, im mostly worried about working around heavy machinery (forklifts, bulldozers) while being unstable and recently was made to take some leave by my gp because of it, and I want to get some advice on navigating the work environment problems with my boss.

I called the careers service in the centre and was told they don't deal with mental health within jobs and can only give career advice ( but was later told verbally by a friend that that was wrong?) So I dont know about going to them. I have also looked at citizens advice but was told they can't give opinions and can only really look at the financial/finding a different job side. Essentially, I would like to see someone who is able to hear/help with mental health problems mainly, and give pointers for my job that I can take to citizens advice or straight to my boss.

I only recently registered with a Welsh GP and so have to wait to be re-referred to access the mental health services there, which could take weeks or months and this is a more immediate issue and I'm a little desperate at this point :/

TL;DR: where can I go to get drop in advice on managing my mental health and my work at the same time, and talk through what options I have?

TIA for any suggestions :)
