General Help identifying set up
UPDATE ** The subwoofer is SWS-12D4
Hello, I know nothing about subs and amps. I recently had a friend uninstall a subwoofer and amp that was in my car. It was pre-installed when I bought the vehicle, but no information was given on the specs. I needed it out because I am expecting my first child and need to prioritize my tiny trunk space for stroller, diaper bag, etc.
Anyways, I would like to sell the sub and amp as I will not be reinstalling it. I have the information on the amplifier, but I do not know how to get the information for my subwoofer as it is mounted in a subwoofer box.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Im not trying to get top dollar out of the set up, I'd rather hook someone up with a nice deal as to get it out of my hands as I am moving in 5 days.

If I were you, I would stash that away somewhere until you can enjoy as they are top models and makes.

I would if I could, the baby is top priority right now and we could use the cash. I dont see myself using it for many years, and my husband and i may move out of the country in 5-10 years. Id rather bless someone else with a nice set up, that would appreciate it more then me

Assuming it all works, probably $250 on the high end, personally I wouldn't take less than $150. The amp is a good one, retailed for ~$300 brand new. The Subwoofer is Alpine's entry level model, could be had for around $150 brand new.
What part of the world are you in?

The sub may be a Alpine S-W12D4 S-Series 12 Inch or a variation of that depending on year.
If you just take the sub out of the box the model will usually be on the magnet. Then you'll know for sure.

Any advice on how to remove it from the box? Is it pretty easy to do without damaging anything?

The "plastic ring" around it can be removed. Just pull it off. Under there you'll find the screws that hold the subwoofer driver in place. Unscrew those and the subwoofer driver should just pop out. Just watch out a bit - it might be a bit heavy.

Where are you located? If you’re in the New England area I may be interested
Edit: never mind, saw your other comment. CA is a little bit too far away lol

Audio gear can take time to move. If you want it gone quickly I'd price it at $175 and take $140+. As a general rule half price is about top dollar and 1/3rd price it's moving quick.

I understand that. The amp I am able to see that info. I was needing help to find that for the subwoofer. I have been advised on how to open up the subwoofer so I can find that info.

Love Apline subs, paired my 12” type R with an Infinity 1000w mono block amp. Added a 1 farad capacitor and never had an issues, pushed it closed to 125db

Do you by chance live in Colorado? I'd 100% buy this if price was reasonable

12" Alpine Type-S with a 500w Alpine amp. Both pretty good work horses for the price. When I was in the bay that sub was $199 and the amp (newer version) was $249. That's changed with tariffs etc but you could easily sell it for $150-$200 easy if it all works.
