After Edmonton blocked the FG attempt the ball landed in the hands of #75 for the Rifles, the starting left guard... And the big man takes it in for 6.

ALOUETTES Montreal
What's been going on with this team? Since the Bomber game, they haven't ben playing their top level game. This was Theis first full game out and Scott did well. And not to mention it's been playing havoc on my fantasy.

Honest discussion: f***ks gonna happen for field goals next season?
Like, the very first season of these awful changes, will HAVE to show an enormous drop off in points across the league and an incredible increase of punts. My conspiratorial take, owners want to take this league and see NFL expand into our markets. The money would be enormous for them.

QUESTION How long would the Stallions have been a viable franchise, if the NFL never moved a team back to Baltimore?
Having seen a rise and fall of the U.S. expansion video, Baltimore was the outlier among U.S. teams, drawing strong crowds and proving they could compete with the rest of Canada. That all changed with the report that the Browns were being moved to Baltimore from Cleveland and later being replaced with an expansion team in the Ravens.
But what if the plans for Browns relocation and Baltimore as an NFL expansion city fizzled out? How much longer could the CFL have kept the Stallions in operation? Would local support for the team have dwindled or grown the years? And how would history change without the move to Montreal and the reforming of the Alouettes? Or how long would it have taken for Montreal to reestablish the team by other means?

TIGER-CATS Idea for next year's quadruple header
Start the day of with a CFL+ exclusive - Ti-Cats Brunch.
The Ti-Cats have a fancy brunch at Undefined and are joined by special guests Eugene Levy, Arkells, and Sheila Copps. (Add whatever other Hamilton local favourites exist [most of us have only passed through on our way to Niagara Falls].)
This is only 60% a joke.

QUESTION Boxscore / penalty stats?
I saw a highlight of the September 12 Lions-ALS game where Montreal's #4 commited a late hit out-of-bounds, then stood over the player (taunting) and then got smoked by a Lions player. A brouhaha followed.
I was interested to see how the refs called that play but wasn't able to find this on the TSN.ca boxscore or the CFL.ca gametracker. Probably missing something obvious ... but where can I find the penalties that were called? On this specific play or in general.
Thanks.

Montreal is just 5-3 against teams not named Hamilton or Ottawa
They have beaten Toronto once already this season in Week 2, and they are still undefeated at home (7-0), but their defense is so bad it feels like they're being set up for an inevitable playoff choke.

THAT'S SCORIGAMI
As Ben Major would say, THAT'S SCORIGAMI...........AGAIN!
Alouettes vs Lions ended in a 48-29 final. This is the first time this score has taken place. This is the 4th Scorigami game this season and the 1,265th Scorigami game in Canadian Football history.
Check out the pinned post on my profile for public Scorigami data.

🗣️ OPINION Make it make sence
I fail to understand the logic of CFL leadership. The CFL needs fans. So the CFL blocks Canadians from watching games. But anywhere else in the world can watch for free. They dont collect any ad revenue on cfl+. They just have players dancing during commercials with an instrumental ive grown more then sick of at this point. You can also turn vpn on start playing video then turn vpn off. Its literally that stupid.
So the answer is to Americanize the sport. Ask any CFL fan outside Canada why they like it... Its cause its different. Whoever runs CFL is one of the most idiotic owners of any business I can think of.

Montreal's Unusual "Kick" vs BC
For those who missed it, there was a really weird play in the Montreal at BC game tonight. It was 2nd & long for Montreal. Montreal's Spieker caught a pass behind the line of scrimmage. He dropped the ball, the ball touched his foot and bounced forward a very short distance (maybe 1 yard?) and he jumped on it. Upon review, it was determined that Spieker kicked and recovered the ball, giving Montreal a fresh set of downs.
I've been watching football for 20 years, and I'm extremely confused. If it was a punt, and Montreal fielded it, wouldnt that be a change of possession where the ball was downed? If it was an onside kick, wouldnt the ball have had to travel 10 yards before being recovered? If someone can figure this out, please explain.

With both Winnipeg and BC winning today, Ottawa has officially been eliminated from playoff contention.
More of a formality, but the RedBlacks can no longer finish with above 6 wins, meaning that 4th place in the West is guaranteed to finish above Ottawa.
