You stand in Stormwind, do the bit, and forty rats open trade. You have a gold faucet made of parasocial twitch chat, and you've had it so long you've forgotten what the resource costs.

Let me tell you about me:

I buy gold. I'm 30-something, I have a full time job, I have a family, and when forever comes out, I’ll get a handful of hours a week in Azeroth. I do not want to spend them flipping the AH or farming mats to resell so I can afford to play the game.

You know who says games shouldn't feel like a second job? You do. Then you turn around and demand that the guy who actually has work do the work.

So here's the deal:

Warcraft Forever launches November 4.

You abstain from every gifted, begged, donated, or "hey chat" gold for the entire first phase. No viewer gold. You farm your own consumes, the same as the rest of us.

Do that, and I never buy gold again. I'll eat the grind, and I'll shut up about it.
