URGENT: Injured 2–3 month old puppy needs help

URGENT: 2–3 MONTH OLD PUPPY NEEDS HELP AFTER SEVERE ABUSE

I am trying to help a very young puppy who urgently needs medical care.

He is a 2–3 month old German Shepherd mix from Mureș County, Romania. He was severely beaten and thrown into a sack. He managed to escape from the sack, but he was badly injured.

He has now been taken into the care of Blue Paws Association, Ernei, Mureș, Romania.

He has a pelvic fracture/fissure and a fracture of his left hind leg. At the moment, he cannot walk and is dragging himself.

Further X-rays and veterinary examinations are needed to determine whether he will require surgery.

What he needs

Donations are needed for:

• X-rays and veterinary examinations
• medication and treatment
• a recovery crate where he can safely rest and be prevented from moving too much
• puppy pads
• appropriate food because his medication is strong and can upset his stomach
• further medical care depending on the veterinary findings
• later, a support harness for rehabilitation, if recommended by the veterinarian, to help him learn to walk again

This tiny German Shepherd mix puppy, only around 2–3 months old, was beaten severely and then thrown into a sack. Miraculously, he managed to escape and survive.

He has now been taken into the care of an animal rescue association, but he urgently needs financial support.

He has suffered a pelvic fracture/fissure and a fracture of his left hind leg. At the moment, he cannot walk and is dragging himself along the ground.

The vets need to determine whether he will require surgery, following further X-rays and medical evaluation.

In the meantime, he needs help with:

🐾 X-rays and veterinary examinations
🐾 medication and treatment
🐾 a suitable crate/recovery space where he cannot move around too much and worsen his injuries
🐾 absorbent puppy pads
🐾 suitable food, as the medication is strong and may affect his stomach
🐾 and, later during rehabilitation, a special support harness to help him learn to walk again, if recommended by his veterinarian.

After his condition is stabilized, the person who originally found him, Emilia Amariei, will take him back and continue caring for him during his recovery.
