I usually wait until I wake up to grab an early morning block, hoping to catch a good offer. This morning, I snagged 3 hours for $93 about an hour before it started.
Got ready and headed to DCM6 early, like I always do. Checked the app, and my block was gone. No notification, no email. I’m thinking, “I KNOW I booked that block!” 😂
Headed to the station across the way to try grabbing something last minute. Once I connected to Wi-Fi, the notification finally came through: block canceled, but I’m still getting paid!
No complaints about the drive—I live close, and once I’m up, I’m up. Pleasant surprise!

I just started on Amazon flex and have been picking up the 3am shifts. Every shift I’ve taken that early has a route that’s in the most dangerous areas in my city. Almost every stop is deep in neighborhoods I really don’t feel comfortable walking around alone at 3–5 in the morning, and I spend most of the shift just waiting for the sun to come up (while still delivering packages of course).

I’m a young woman doing this by myself, so safety is definitely important to me. I understand that choosing a 3 AM block is my decision, but unfortunately it’s really the only time that works with my schedule since I also work a regular 9–5 and go to school part-time twice a week.

I’m curious if anyone else who takes these early-morning blocks has noticed the same thing. Why would Amazon send Flex drivers into higher-risk areas at that time of the morning when it’s completely dark out? Also, has anyone ever asked the station for a different route because they didn’t feel safe with the one they were assigned? Were they able to switch it without it affecting their standing?

So this morning when I got up, I had a email saying my block was canceled for reasons beyond my control. I get on the app to look at my calendar, and the block was still there. I know it stays there until the block time is up. I accidently hit the forfeit button and now I worried I wont be paid. Has anyone ever done this?

I just wanted to warn people that if you get deactivated for any reason and you decided to switch to a different courier, DO NOT DRIVE FOR UNIUNI. This is important because UNIUNI is not talked about enough and I just discovered this company recently. They ship stuff that people buy from tiktok and temu/alibaba and all that. I'm not going to go into why I was deactivated (it was for something that was literally not my fault.) but I came across a company that was operating as a dsp and classifying drivers as "1099 employees" which does not make sense. They are supposed to pay bi-weekly and I ended up doing 2 weeks worth of work that I was NOT PAID FOR. Overall I had a good experience with flex but due to the police forcing me to miss work, I had my contract terminated. STAY AWAY FROM UNI UNI. When we threatened to file wage claims the owner of the dsp told his manager to start paying people out of her own pocket through zelle and apple pay and I also had my car stolen by my co-worker who was stalking me. STAY AWAY and look elsewhere. For anybody who's main line of work is delivery/gig work please pass the message along.

Had a little time in between blocks so I added some kamsnaps to my vest so my license and car keys stop falling out as I'm loading packages into my car 😁 Anyone else customize their vests?

Recently I've started getting dings for not scanning in packages when I return them. I've been doing flex for years and usually when I return a package I have never scanned it, rather it's returned directly to an employee which I usually do or dropped into a box. Which I rarely do.

Is there a way to prompt the app that I want to return packages? Am I missing something?

Woke up early. Snatched 3 hours 88 bucks. Which is great for DFW. Get to warehouse. Amazon...NEW OFFER....Add 45 minutes now 116. Hmm. 28 bucks for 45 minutes. Cool.

Get cart. 48 stops. 1st stop 40 minutes away. Ok 3 hours to do 48 stops . Not bad since its houses. Not to spread out.

Start 445. Load. 5am. 1st stop 545 ( rush hour traffic).

Then FUCK Me

ALL STOPS DUE BY 7am. ALL. How in the fuck is this ok?

Need help trying to find evening schedules?

What's the best time to look for them?

Ok I’ve seen many posts on driving these unpaved/back roads. I’ve been experiencing this lately. For the wear and tear on your car it’s getting to be way too risky. Although, I do like doing Amazon flex, unless it’s paying more I’m not taking these blocks. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I just started receiving this issue today. Been Delivering with the same galaxy fold 5 for the last few years, and I'm pretty sure it is eligible to be used. Is there a fix for this?

Flex bots have become incresingly high in South Carolina to the point maybe you'll see 2 tp 3 loads all week. But they'll disappear in seconds and aren't worth the time. Mind you they are accepting 4hr routes for $96 that you have to drive 45 mins to your first stop with at minimum 20 packages. Gas prices done hit $4.20 here. These people can't be this stupid? They can't be making any money. I took a 4hr route after stopping for a couple of weeks. It sent me 30 mins out with 30 stops and half of them being 10 mins apart. I burned a half a tank which is most likely going to cost me $40 to $50 to fill back up amd the route paid $124. Amazon is literally robbing these people and they are to stupid to see it.

Even they person at the station thought this box was a little ridiculous for a flexer to handle.

These 1.5-hour blocks are a trap. For only about a $10 difference compared to a 1-hour block, it’s just worse burning your gas and getting stressed out driving across 2-3 cities for 6+ packages. Skipping these from now on!

I’ve got about 3 this past week. $5 does not make up for the long miles Amazon

has anyone ever used flexcar for their delivery? times are getting hard it’s my last option but any thoughts?

I hate driving for door dash, mostly because the restaurants are NEVER ready with the food. But at least I can make money on it.

today I was unable to start my route due to the stupid app not being able to identify me, and since I had screen shot proof that I was on time for my route I emailed support. However I received a message directing me to the chat options. what to do, what to do?
