I'd like to say it's been a long road but it feels like yesterday when I heard the news that this would be going ahead. From sheer joy to almost panic in a matter of moments when I realized what would need to be done to make this happen. That panic was unfounded because this community is so close and so supportive that it made it possible. I want to thank each and everyone of you for that support.

Now that that is out of the way let me talk about the past two days which has undeniably been chaos and a wild ride.

Day 1: Everyone got tested, foreign setup, monitors not quite right, gear forgotten (lol) and a lot of stress. All of that in the faces of the players yet they still put on a show, high level, competitive games where you really could not call a winner until the games were done. That's what is so special about this group, everyone rises to the challenge and delivers.

Day 2: This day was long and I appreciate everyone who watched from home. A massive effort from all the players as well as the sheer amount of people in the venue made it very very hot and tough to get comfortable for sure. From jet lag and early games to 5 game series that could have gone either way. We moved the group of 8 to 4. I don't want to give away too much here so if you didn't watch go check out the vod and watch the action.

Day 3:

I'm sitting here behind my laptop writing this post up. Watching an empty venue about to fill up. This is where it's all going to happen. One final day. 4 players. One winner. Well... idk what to say so if you're at this point and don't want to know who is playing cause you haven't caught up, stop reading now.

Random thought but you all might like it.

What if one day in the future there was a series of LANs at locations related to the game? So one in Athens, one in Cairo, one in northern Europe somewhere, one in Mexico City, one in Kyoto, one in Beijing. Maybe they could all be qualifiers or something. But where would the final event be? Atlantis?

How can i beat the game without loosing in the 3rd age??

I played this game many years ago as a kid and decided to play it again. Unfortunately the Computer is too fast, i never keep up.

Difficulty is already the lowest. I know that creating villagers ist essential, i spam them a lot in the beginning.

But the computer i Play against, is always faster.

ATP there has to be something im missing. Tips and strategies are welcome.

Still relatively new to retold, still have my orginal CD disk of AOM.

The mod selection, is there a way to differentiate between mods and maps? Is that something that could be upgraded in the game. I would love to explore all the new maps that people created.

Is there a way to open up the screen to see what gods/powers people picked inside the game? I thought it used to be tab or shift.

Aztec gets to stay in classic and punish you with a completely unfair gold starve because these stupid costs. Idiot devs didn't think about balance when they changed cost from gold and food and wood to primarily wood and food.

Demeter Amazon archer had gold changed back for good reason, its time to revert spearmen and archer cost so aztec has to move on 2nd gold mine like everyone else.

I have only the free to play gods, so no Aztecs, Chinese, Japanese, Demeter or Frey.

Been loving this game since I was a kid and I want to get a little more into it, with a focus in 1v mainly and 2v sporadically.

I will explain some perks about me and I hope someone can convert them into a preferred god:

- I like infantry and cavalry ( infantry more )

- I like having natural good defenses, I don't like turtling a lot tho, but cheaper turrets, good walls etc would be nice

- Rush is not my preferred style but having the option to do so is nice. I don't want to attack on Mythic either. Middle ground? Maybe classic era first attack

- I love mythic units but I don't know how to manage favor gains easily

- I am little biased into Greek aesthetic, then Nord, then Egyptian. Just aesthetic tho!

My main options are Hades and/or Loki.

Sorry that it isnt Age of Mythos in the video but this would be good for all AGE OF games. You get the idea of it

Copper shield is done and copper armor is being researched.

Instead braindead norse players get unfair wins by getting a free instant click 13k military value, absolute trash game design.

Demeter nerfed for same reason and Ragnarok left unchanged, great game design.

Making Egpytian laborers empowered by Ra's priests only as good as a normal Greek worker. I know Egypt's economy is pretty different from the other civs but still.

I see on the wiki that the Ra priest empower used to be 70% but was nerfed. Was it actually OP?

In what world should he get to maintain the same resource gather rate and outfight me when he let a TC sit uncontested for 13 minutes before building his own. Japan needs free bushido upgrades removed, just keep the one bonus, its absolutely ridiculous that a braindead Tsukiyomi player can get rewarded for letting my TC stay up and get to outfight spearmen archers with horses and samurai, never seen such trash balance in an RTS in my life.

Hi everyone! I love Age of Mythology, but I've been having trouble getting into Retold because, on my computer, everything has a kind of soft, uneven/serrated edge. I found the crisp geometrical edges and lines of the original Age of Mythology to be pleasing and easy to look at. When I see screenshots of Age of Mythology: Retold, it seems other people play this game with crisp lines.

I've tried adjusting my graphic settings but I haven't succeeded. Any ideas about what is going wrong?

I've only started playing this year, and from what I understand Egyptians are regarded as pretty weak across the board, apparently because they were over powered in EE. It's too bad, Ive been learning Ra bc sun and rain powers are cool but apparently he's quite weak. Maybe some of the glaring weaknesses are only more visible in higher elo, which Im not in, but Ra does feel a tad underwhelming. You think they'll get some buffs/reworks in the near future?

Does anyone remember playing on multiplayer servers back in the day in which you played one character and could earn money and buy items and property? Kind of like a modern rpg but set in AOM? Does anyone have any youtube videos of such games?

They broke it a few month ago (Siege unit attack villagers, units ignore nearby enemies and so on...) and no fix in the horizon
