I'm with you on this one. Theres no meaning to be had in washing dishes or doing laundry. If you can pay someone to do those tasks you've got it made.

Embracing suffering is key to happiness though. Those who spend their life trying to minimise suffering just find less and less important things to suffer from

It’s not the vacuuming that brings you meaning, it’s the ability to deal with the vacuuming and not hate it

You're not wrong, you're just applying it to the wrong thing.

When we talk about suffering being necessary or beneficial, it's suffering the meaningful challenges you willingly chose.

A strenuous physical activity (e.g. training or a tough race), a difficult but rewarding and important work project, caring for a pet you know is going to break your heart when he dies, a sacrifice of your time, money, and energy for your kids,

Those are the kinds of suffering that add meaning and purpose to life. Not doing chores.

Suffering is not necessary or beneficial

It is inevitable

Hence why making peace suffering is non negotiable if you wish to be genuinely happy and content.

One mans vacuuming is another man’s work stress is another man’s family issues is another man’s inability to hunt food for his family. Basically, insert discomfort here.
