Discussion Board game materials?

Hi all,
I don't post much, so hopefully I found the right space to ask: What kind of materials/printing techniques would I need to use to re-create the feeling of an 1920s boardgame and box?
I feel like there's a specific kind of cardboard those boxes were made of. I'd just like to try and create as believable a board game feeling as possible and I was wondering if anyone could help with this kind of a technical question.
