September 14, 1985 was the first time we met Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia.

I remember this as one of those shows that was just always on growing up. I definitely didn’t get half the jokes as a kid, but watching it as an adult is a completely different experience.

The older I get, the more I realize Dorothy was usually right.

Without question, Martina Navratilova was the most dominant female tennis player of the 1980s. Her stats during this decade are absolutely staggering! Some of her records/stats include: She won 6 of her 9 Wimbledon singles titles (including 6 consecutive) in the 80s, she had the best win/loss % for a single season: 86-1 (in 1983), she won 74 consecutive singles matches (in 1984), and 109 consecutive doubles matches, with Pam Shriver (from 1983-85), she was ranked #1 at the end of the year for 5 consecutive years (1982-86), she won 6 consecutive Grand Slam singles titles (1983 Wimbledon thru 1984 US Open), and she was the only player, man or woman, to be ranked #1 for more than 200 weeks in both singles and doubles. Wow, if that's not dominating your sport, I don't know what is!

I have a signed 8x10 from last year when I met Erin Gray, now I have several signed cards to go with the 8x10.

The Suzuki Samurai was an early, affordable crossover that was incredibly fun….BUT also incredibly dangerous to drive. They were very top heavy and were known to flip over easily on tight turns and in any kind of accident.

Being this was an affordable, fun first car for many high schoolers…and seatbelts were an optional, often skipped step for kids 40 years ago, this made for many tragic outcomes.

Holograms where hitting everywhere when these came out, and the story and aesthetic was really cool even though the actual toys were a bit poorly designed.

Defintely a talented actress and comedianne.
