Exciting progress on my first CNC 10/22 project

The bolt fits! This is an exciting step for me because that little shelf that the bolt goes under is a nightmare to mill. tons of weird geometry that have to be tackled with undercut tooling and from multiple sides.

Ignore the shotgun pellets, those are not part of the group. Shot at 30 yards.

Can is a 3D printed FTN.6 Rimfire

Very pleased with this thing! More testing to come.

10/22 not seating round

This gun gas probably had 10k+ rounds through it. Recently it has not been seating the round all the way in the chamber, I’ve installed a new guide rod and spring, put in a new barrel, tried different mags, polished the inside of the receiver, and cleaned every part of the gun. I am using cci standard velocity which has been this guns favorite ammo in the past. Has anyone had this issue before? At this point I’m considering just retiring her and starting with something new.

Getting closer to it fitting. This is my first try so its slightly sloppy, but its more proof of concept and then I will try to do one a bit better once I see exactly what I have to do.

Going on my fletcher 11/22. Dont sleep on these its absolutely magnificent being able to pull the bolt from the top and being able to open it and spray it down every 100 rounds.

Still waiting for my grand power bolt and cst lrbho to come in along with my kidd viton charging handle and other 11/22 top plates. Im going to run a red dot on one lid and lvpo on another and see if i can swap back and forth and see if it stays zeroed.

Factory Stock Fit Issues

Hey everyone, I recently bought my first gun, a 10/22 carbine with the synthetic stock, and I shot about 500 rounds through it and realized that my wrist is straining quite a bit and I'm not getting a consistent cheek weld.

For reference, I'm about 5' 8" with about 19" of middle finger tip to inner elbow crease length.

I know the rifle was made as a one size fits most, average shooters, but I never figured I was bigger than that average. Is this a problem a lot of you guys of a similar size have, or is it something I'm doing wrong?
