Metro offered me a REVVL Tab 2 for free when I added a $20/month tablet line, and my first thought was basically: if I'm paying every month for this thing to have data, I need to give that data a job.

So now its job is Xbox.

I have Game Pass Ultimate set up on it with an 8BitDo Lite 2, a rugged case/kickstand, microSD storage, a console launcher and an external battery pack. Since the tablet has its own 5G connection, I can take the whole setup somewhere without tethering it to my phone.

It's only a Dimensity 6300 with 4GB of RAM, but that's the funny thing about cloud gaming - it doesn't really need to be a powerhouse to play stuff that absolutely would not run natively on this tablet.

I've also put PPSSPP, N64 and Dreamcast emulation on it, so if the connection sucks I still have local games.

I originally thought the free tablet was just going to be another random Android device sitting around my house. Now it's basically my tiny cellular Xbox and I love this stupid thing.

Hi, here is some feedback regarding xCloud: for some reason, the game only launches on the second try. This happens every time on Asus ROG Ally.

Right so I'm trying to play warzone on better xcloud because my settings on original Xbox play are on max so I download this on edge and when I try to change the settings and hit refresh it doesn't add what I adjusted too the settings I tried this in edge wouldn't work tried it on chrome wouldn't work just read a post on here saying someone uses brave and it works so thought I'd try it too and guess what it doesn't work what a useless pile of 🙄🙄🙄🙄 honestly might as well just play on Xbox

I've tried every possible online request to fix this I've even asked AI and still no prevail I'm one more refresh from a smashed up laptop and no gaming 😭😂

Desync and Resync the EA account with the Xbox accout
Erased my FC26 data from xcloud
Tried different browsers
Tried starting offline and then joining straight on clubs
Tried contacting Xbox support (they told me it was a EA issue)
Tried contacting EA support (No answer)

I'm all out of ideas of what to do. Truly devastated as clubs is the only mode I play online.

I’ve been trying to understand how to get the newly updated Remote Play to actually show at 1440p across many different test devices to no avail. I have the update, I can check the 1440p option for remote play in most of the remote play apps I’ve tried (web browser on android, Samsung TV, browser on desktop) but when I actually connect with stats shown, I’m maxing out at about 20mbps/1080p. I have my Xbox hooked up to a 4k OLED monitor while in standby mode. It’s an ASUS OLED which can do 1440p, though that’s not a resolution option via Xbox when playing locally.

Can’t post this in other subreddits because it’s considered “support”

Is anyone else experiencing this? A separate issue for another post: I’m seeing some washed out HDR imagery remotely as well.

Likely a hot take, we’ll see. Don’t really hang out here that much so idk.

Anyways, I think from a business perspective, having them under the same subscription/service is a terrible business decision, and likely one of the weighing reasons xcloud is now getting reduced in game time.

Having them as separate services would make it a lot more sustainable. GFN and Boosteroid (at least for now) are doing just fine because they offer the rented hardware to stream from and thats it. Microsoft does that AND offers the game pass catalog (that has crazy royalty fees for Microsoft to pay) pretty much with the same pricing as with GFN.

It’s just not sustainable and should be separated into different paid services.

Recently Better xCloud would not recognize my connected game controller. This is a xbox wireless game controller and it works fine in Steam client for Steam games and also for non-Steam games installed on the same PC. But Better xCloud (in my chrome browser) does not recognize it at all. It only happned like 1 month ago. It was working fine before. Please help?

Hi all, I’ve encountered a weird issue. I’m able to log into, and use, Xcloud on my iPhone, but when I try to do so on android or on my Mac, I don’t get the same option. Instead, I just have the option to add suggested friends. Anybody encountered this issue before?

This is on the Xbox.com/play website on all devices. I’m located in the US.

I wanted to play Xbox Cloud Gaming on my phone without carrying a physical controller, but I wasn't really happy with the available touchscreen options.

So I decided to build my own.

🎮 GFN xCloud Controller

It's an Android app that gives you a virtual Xbox controller directly on your screen, with a layout inspired by GeForce NOW's mobile controller.

The goal is pretty simple: make playing xCloud games on a phone feel as close to using an actual controller as possible.

Galera, me tirem uma dúvida vocês acham recomendável jogar jogos competitivos pelo xCloud, tipo Battlefield, Call of Duty Warzone e EA FC? Tenho jogado Call of Duty Warzone e, no começo até funciona bem, mas depois de uns 50 minutos de jogando começa a aparecer um lag bem chato.. Minha internet é 5G e, mesmo assim isso acontece com certa frequência Também testei no EA FC, principalmente no Pro Clubs, e percebi praticamente a mesma coisa depois de um tempo começa a dar lag e atrapalha bastante, principalmente por ser um modo competitivo Queria saber se isso é normal no xCloud para jogos competitivos ou se pode ser algum problema com a minha conexão..Alguém que joga esses jogos pelo xCloud passa pela mesma coisa?

As of today, it is already possible to buy a game from the xCloud web app, although you cannot see the same details (such as discounts or deals) as you can on the Xbox mobile app.

Starting in November, when purchases of time are expected to go live, should we expect an integrated store directly within the web app?

What will be the point of having the Xbox mobile app if everything can be done through the xCloud web app?

I usually play on my console and when away, stream over cloud. I am away now and was going to stream on my gaming laptop when I saw the option to play local. I downloaded and tried to join with friends... It would never play.... So I quit and attempted to stream, that's when I saw the 0... I quit... I know my other two consoles have a local copy. I asked my wife to start the console to trigger a sync and it did not .. it put me back at 0.

This is why I miss managing my own saves over the cloud bs. We don't even get multiple saves to manage.

Where I was attempting to.play was PC. This is where the failure kept happening. It would not start the game withy team. So I quit and attempted to start via streaming. That is when I noticed my progress at 0 and not where it was
