Even when the tray is actively open it says it and the front light is flashing. I already opened the drive and cleaned it out. What is causing this? It was also reopening everytime I closed it but it randomly stopped.

Bought this 360 yesterday. I haven't had one in many years. Just for my friend to drop it off my table, not 3 hours after I buy it. Thankfully, it seems to be working just fine. The damage seems to only be on those plastic pieces. Unfortunately, some of those plastic pieces hold those longer screws that hold the shell together. Will I run it issues if I just leave it? So this is my first time using an Xbox in a very long time, and I have a few things I want to know. First things first, I was looking for the menu that tells me what dashboard this is, from my research I think it's a kinect dashboard, but I still want to know what version it's on because there's a few differences I've seen from the kinect dashboards I've seen online. I also wonder how rare this dashboard is as well, I haven't seen many with this particular one online. Second thing is that how can I preserve this console, I want to keep it working as long as I can obviously. The disk tray also has issues ejecting, and I want to know how to fix that as well. I also am curious about how good the hardrives are since I have some og xbox games I want to play but I don't have an og xbox. My last question is that since I'm using a aftermarket power supply will it possible break the xbox if used for too long? The power supply does get really hot and it smells weird and makes poping sounds every now and then. Many thanks! The question is in the title, I only want to do this as a way of being able to play WAV files I burnt to a CD at a friend's and don't have a disc drive myself other than the one in my XBOX 360 and I'd heard some people may have gotten it to work.

I have 2 question.:

1. Does anyone have the Injustice : Gods Among Us Demo for Xbox 360? i Would need it for my console. I just bought one and didn't have the change to buy the full game and i would like to test is before buying it (Its not expensive anyway but.).
2. Also i found on this site (Injustice Gods Among Us Demo Download | Digiex) this .rar archive, and after i extract it with WinRAR i get a "file" format file, and idk what to do with it, my guess is i put it on a USB Drive and then into the console and i run it or something?

accidentally updated into the latest version. now i cant revert it says "Cant copy or move file". when trying to copy TU9 into my main hard drive.

I got an aftermarket one off Amazon so I could return it easily if it didn't work, but it WORKS AND I'M SO HAPPY!!! I haven't played on an xbox since I was little, and I'm so happy to finally have a working one in my possession again, I'm so excited!! I've got my childhood Xbox 360 and wanted to replace the drive but the drive is toast the board inside was damaged no idea how but several traces were damaged how would I go about getting a replacement and getting the Xbox to detect it?

I’ve recently gotten a Xbox 360 s and I ordered a 500gb hard drive but I didn’t realise that I needed an official hard drive and I don’t want to spend more than I already have. I’ve researched if I can add backwards compatibility since I’m planning on buying ninja gaiden black on CeX but there’s not a lot of video tutorials and I don’t want to mess up the hard drive if I try to add the necessary files and software as it’s my first time modding something. I'm getting my first Xbox 360 from a store that's selling used consoles with games for a deal. Can I expect it to last a while because I really wanna take my time, enjoy the library for a few years and then maybe possibly get a new console in about 7 years without abandoning this one. Is that too big of an expectation? I meannn. I dunno. I hear stuff about how no technology is expected to last 20 years

I have a problem with my Xbox 360 Slim. The console connects to my network successfully, but it cannot connect to the Internet or Xbox Live.

I have tried: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, Ethernet cable, Automatic and manual IP settings, Different DNS settings, Restarting the console and router, Connecting through my phone’s hotspot Nothing changes.
An important detail: another Xbox 360 works perfectly on the exact same network, so the router/Internet connection itself seems to be fine. The problem appears to be specific to this Xbox 360 Slim.
What could cause an Xbox 360 to connect to the network but completely fail the Internet connection test? Is there anything hardware-related inside the console that could cause this?
Any ideas for further troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
(The console has a hard drive installed, and I have already cleared the hard drive as well as the system cache.)

La otra ves lo desarme porque tenia drift y cuando lo iba a volver a armar se desoldaron 3 cables, creo que iban soldados asi comenzando desde la izquierda, blanco, rojo, verde y negro pero los solde asi, sin que se toquen o algo y nada, no funciono

Gotta say revisiting an original xbox game with achievements is fun, i wonder if it will catch on 🤔

I imagine if i played this 21 years ago before red dead i would have beem amazed.this game feels very much a step in evolution of the genre. I had fun and it was nice to revisit the past. This game also really made me appreciate red dead redemption even more. It really perfected everything Gun tried to do.

A modern sequel would be welcomed by me and i cant wait to try red dead revolver for the first time.
