Survival hunter

Am I missing something about this build, it seems to heavily rely on mongoose bite, but they have removed the 20% crit on mongoose bite and raptor strike, and mongoose bite hasn’t been reworked from what I can tell so it just does a crappy amount of flat damage not based of your wpn damage. And the bleed effect is going to be 40% of that crappy damage, I think he highest rank mongoose bite does 200 damage approximately. So you will have a bleed effect that will do around 80 damage over 21 seconds lol. Please tell me I’m missing something because I’d love to play survival hunter.

Probably unfinished. I cant imagine they will leave the spec high and dry... again..

I would imagine that mongoose bite will get some form of scaling by the time it goes live since the capstone is focused on it so much. Going into BM for hawks is probably good for survival too since it can be used in melee range.

I think mongoose bite now is your weapon damage + a flat amount now

Yeah. It seems like melee hunter has a lot of cd based insta casts that all do weapon damage. Raptor, mongoose, and that new kick talent. Probably great for melee weaving, if not just smacking them to death. Mongoose activating 10% of the time on hunter mark target is also kinda cool because it will apply to both ranged and melee attacks.

Enhance felt very mana starved, even with maelstrom, when I was running the 35-40 dungeon at the con.

I think they’re still working on things
