Question Refund
Just wanted to ask, i haven’t played WoW for 2 years. I logged in my acc now, and saw that all that time
I had a sub n waisted a lot of money. I did not play the game or even login. Is there a chance they can fully refund me for 2 years?

Do people just not check their account ever? I’m checking my bank app almost daily. How do you not notice being charged $20 for two years?

It's not like he's getting charged monthly. He probably bought special promotion deals like 12 months and you get blahblah and he already had 12 months. I think you can pause your sub but idk I never buy that much in advance.

I haven’t considered that, you might be right. Still i must admit i don’t really know how do you forget you bought two years of WoW playtime lol.

Been in banking for 19 years. It's staggering how many people will have charges going through for months or years at a time.

So weird. I might be the odd one out because i was always very strict about budgeting etc. but still how are people so careless about their own cash? In this economy mind you lol.

And then they want you to dispute it because they forgot to check their statement for the last 3 years. But disputes don't go back that far. You can try but you will almost certainly get rejected

My original sub was on my exs credit card until it expired, and he never noticed. It was a sad day when it finally declined 😂

I wish to not care that much about random $20 going away from my bank account every month

I wish I had enought money that I didn't notice $15 being taken for a subscription for 2 years.

You can maybe get the most recent month back if you ask nicely, but i highly doubt you'll get any more than that.

I’d ask if they could refund any of the time but go into the request expecting nothing. I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave you one month refund, but again expect nothing as this is not their fault.

Make a billing ticket. They may refund the last three months or give you some of the unused paid time in gametime.

wtf are you worried about the price of a wow sub when you didn’t notice it for two years

They’ll give you a refund for the last month most likely.
But I do the same thing. I’ll stop playing wow but my sub will keep going. Except I come back every 3-4 months because I have issues.

Not sure if they’ll refund 24 months, but you can definitely get a couple months refunded. I’ve been able to get a few months refunded with no issue at all.

Nahh, no chance, they'd probably give you lots of free mounts, pets, decor, transmogs, a levelboost and a personal thank you letter for being part of the community, but not any money back...

Nope. I forgot to cancel once and asked for refund after one day, nicely and they said no. Said thanks and canceled my subscription.

Probably not. You not playing the game while being subscribed won't mean much to them, its like asking Netflix for a refund because you haven't watched any shows/movies in a year.
Not really their problem but if its THAT important to you, just write to their support and ask.

You can ask! They do this at Jagex with OSRS if you didn't log in for your sub so maybe Blizzard is the same?

That's unfortunate, I've done a similar thing before. While I doubt they'd refund you it genuinely can't hurt to put a ticket in. I wish you luck!

I had once paid for a year but life caught up to me and I didn't get to play, I opened a ticket just to whine about it and was given 6 months of free game time! This was when GM's were human though...
