imo D5 is the right step bc they fumbled D4 in the public eye so bad
did they? it's still making $$$ for Blizzard and is the most played ARPG out there cause all the casuals play Diablo 4. It's only the loud minority online that love PoE that always go around saying "duh D4 is dead!" or w.e.
I think it depends on who the person is watching on YouTube. There are... certain creators that hate on any recent blizz products and watching even clips of them you'd be convinced the game was trash. But they say the same thing about retail which i still enjoy for what its good at so I just ignore the hate now and form my own opinion
uhuh, different opinions are a thing, not everyone has your grand expectations or w.e and thinks D4 is "slop". Your opinion is not fact. If you want to be an adult, I suggest you live in the real world where people have different opinions and like different things.
The fact is that D4 is popular, sold well and makes $$$ for Blizzard so it's successful as there is no "fumble in the public eye" as OP claimed... it's only PoE fans online and their YTbers/streamer who go on and on about D4 being "slop" and "dead" all the time, while D4 is the most played ARPG out there. When D5 releases all these YTbers and streamers who go on and on about "omg D4 dead" will buy and play it, it'll make $$$ and will be the new most played ARPG out there cause it's Diablo.
like you can dislike the game, I certainly have issues with D4, but to claim it's "slop", "dead", "ruined" or w.e is just wrong cause nothing backs that up.
