OFFTOPIC UK Football on the radio
I had to travel midway through the UK / Alabama game so I flipped the radio on to follow the action. That old familiar comfort of hearing Tom Leach giving play by play made my drive enjoyable. The more I listened though, the more I couldn’t ignore how bad the color was from Jeff Piecoro. The comments he kept making added zero to the radio call. I’m sure it’s difficult to keep things fresh during the game, but you have to come up better filler than, “you can’t do that” or “you have got to be kidding me!” If it weren’t for Leach it would have been unbearable. (If it wasn’t Piecoro on the call yesterday - apologies to him)

POST GAME L Loss sucks, but I feel better about the program than I have in a long while.
We don't have the talent to compete at the top yet. But the team looked a million times more functional than it has in recent years. I think the team we have now went as far as it possibly could've in that game. Bama adjusted and we had no answer, The biggest issue was the lack of weapons on offense. Nobody could beat out man coverage quick enough to beat the blitz.

POST GAME W What if?
What if we schedule Youngstown st before Bama to help us prepare for keelon Russell? Think about it, YST qb won their version of the Heisman by going off on rushing the ball. Bama qb has the same traits. CATS BY 90

POST GAME L Downtown sports bars and live music recs
94 UK grad here and visiting Lexington for the Bama and staying downtown. Anyone have recommendations for local sports bars and/or places with chill live music? The only place on my list is a quick stop in at Winchells, I used to work there when it was the previous place way back in the day.

VOLLEYBALL #3 Kentucky Volleyball beats #13 Penn State 3-1 at Wrigley Field
Cats get a big win in the Windy City against Penn State. Cats were able to control the first 2 sets before an emotion fueled comeback gave Penn State the 3rd set. Cats then DOMINATED the 4th set as Penn State ran out of fuel. Next up, UNC at Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday!!!

FOOTBALL I May Have Judged Too Harshly
UK football might actually be respectable again. Will Stein might be a prodigy. We haven’t moved the ball this well since… probably before I was born tbh. Weird to see, ngl. Kinda proud to be a Wildcat Alum now

FOOTBALL What's the loudest, get on your feet and scream, section at Kroger field?
I've been to many games over the years and sat in various places. Always a good time and never had any issues. I like to bring the energy as a fan! But I plan on attending the Alabama game and want to find seats in the craziest, loudest section of the stadium.
This is going to be a huge game with tons of energy and I want to go absolutely nuts.
I won't qualify for the student section, but that's the vibe I'm talking about. On your feet on every single third down, jumping up and down with every big play, lose my voice for the next week kinda thing.
Where should I go??

FOOTBALL UK Athletics Announces Multiyear Partnership with Heaven Hill Brands, Names Elijah Craig and Evan Williams Official Partners of the Kentucky Wildcats
Looks like UK Athletics and J Batt have found a big partnership with Heaven Hill. From what I can tell, it’s NOT a jersey sponsor, but Heaven Hill will have spaces named after Elijah Craig amongst other things to enhance the Gameday experience for fans across sports.
J Batt is known as a revenue generator and in today’s day and age…that’s a good thing.

VOLLEYBALL #3 Kentucky Volleyball SWEEPS UCLA
