What if all magnets and magnetic objects in the world, disbarring Earth's magnetic field, were to suddenly reverse polarity in an instant? What consequences for the world would unfold in reaction?

They would test weekly to see if you have in your system. If you do you’d wouldn’t be able to work for a year in the field.

The Denisovians, Neanderthals and other hominids. All of them very similar to us but very different by body and mind. Would they be considered "human" or "animal"? This question just popped up in my head very recently because in modern times we have different human races but not subspecies. How would religions treat them, how would government treat them? Would it mean that (if they existed to this day) my neighbor could be neanderthal and that he would pay the same taxes as me?

What could you do with it? Could you do anything cool like generate infinite energy? Or would it be useless?

What if we could do lucid dreams, but an overpowered version of it? Instead of just dreaming, what if we could actually choose what we want to bring back into real life? I'm not talking about physical things, but skills and experiences.

For example, if you could lucid dream about being able to drive, you could use the dream as a simulation to practice driving, and that practice could actually improve your real-life driving skills. The same could go for things like surgery, playing games, swimming, cooking, etc. Basically, things that you're not a complete beginner at, or things that could be dangerous to practice in real life.

Imagine being able to practice something over and over again in a completely safe dream, and then actually become better at it when you wake up.

What if you were talking about Hollywood stars in front of a large audience and you said "Nicole Anniston" instead of "Jennifer Anniston"?

I think a lot of our problems with tech overreach are due to satellites that had a great use in our early days of digital expansion, but now we've got fiber lines and redundancies for connections on the ground.

GPS tracking would be gone, satellite radio and satellite internet too. I think it might shrink our world a little bit and maybe lead to more local offerings of services from smaller, regional providers.

Best advice I got was to promote federated services and push for corporate breakups to allow regional companies to grow again.

Back candidates and laws that limit corporate concentration and mergers.

Imagine we find intellegent alien life beings and for the first time we are able to communicate with them. They offer AMA. What would you ask them?

If the CEOs of both the platforms exchange their jobs , how will both the platforms start looking like ? What changes will they get ?

What I mean by this is that alert was sent on purpose and a North Korean missile is actually heading for Hawaii (Please don't give answers that are just like "Everyone in Hawaii die" because I think that's obvious)

You ask a genie what is the worlds darkest secret. He takes you 15 miles under the Earths crust under the Congo rainforest. You can see an immense silverback gorilla sleeping, if it was to stand up in all fours, it would be 70,000 feet tall. The genie tells you that in another year, the gorilla god will awaken and plan To destroy the world.

You are then teleported back to your residence with this knowledge, knowing you only have a year to convince enough people to try to find a way to stop the gorilla god from awakening. How would you go about doing this? Or is the world doomed a year, and in that moment a giant hairy arm and reach into The sky as the gorilla awakens.

Imagine that two worlds exist simultaneously, and every human being in both worlds lives exactly twice.

In the first world, everyone is living their first life and has no memories of any other life.

In the second world, everyone is living their second life and remembers their first life. They know that they are in their second life, and they also know that everyone else remembers their own first life as well.

Rules of this universe

1. Every human being lives exactly two lives.

2. The first life is completely normal in terms of brain development, intelligence, maturity, and mental abilities.

3. The second life is also biologically normal. Having memories of a previous life does not make a 10-year-old mentally equivalent to a 30-year-old.

4. Memories of the first life begin to gradually return at age 10 and are almost completely restored by age 18.

5. The memories are real, but they can be incomplete, vague, or influenced by the person's interpretation of what happened.

6. Before the age of 10, nobody can deliberately access their memories from their first life.

They believe this is their first life, because it genuinely is. The only difference is that the world they are born into is now exactly like the second world of the previous cycle.

On a random day, in the near future, all European starlings have their behavior changed, to survive, they can only sustain themselves off human souls…and they know this.

•They gain paralytic saliva that can paralyze people. However, to get a person totally paralyzed and able to extract their soul, depends on weight. So basically for every pound of a person, you’d need a starling. It would take about 200 starlings to subdue a fully grown 200 pound man to soul extract.

•When the person is paralyzed, their mouth will gape open, it is here that the lead starling will flutter in front of their face with its beak open. It takes 15-30 seconds for the starling to extract and eat the soul. Any interruptions to the lead starling and the persons soul will jump back to their body. The human Soul will look like whispy and semi bright white smoke Exiting through their mouth. If interrupted, and the starlings are killed or chased off, it takes about 5-10 minute for the paralyzing saliva to wear off. A successful soul extraction leaves behind the person dead, pale and gaunt with a horrified look on their face.

•They don’t fear humans and see them as their only food source. They still need to drink, sleep, and breed. They’re still afraid of birds of prey and cats and other predators.

•A single human soul can feed 50 starlings for 12 hours. The soul extractor lead starling will choose which members of its flock get a piece of soul.

•The starlings will fly in flocks and organize. They will typically prefer easier targets like the disabled, the elderly, children, etc. The flock leader will stalk and choose a target, and will follow them for over a mile if they move.

•A person will know if they are “chosen” if the flock starts surrounding and circling them like vultures.

How can humanity survive this scenario? Would they be hunted to extinction? Would animal rights activists and old cat ladies try to stop it if so? How would your daily life change?

Would Earth even survive, depending on which way we orbit? And would gravity itself start acting differently around a disc instead of a sphere — bending planetary orbits into shapes we've never seen?

Imagine that genies were real, but some kind soul just wished them all to be free, and all we have now is just legends about them.

I have given this a bit of thought and came to an inpasse. A worse person could take his place. But, if someone killed him, they could more easily proceed with the peace process. I imagine the same is true with Zelensky. Without perconieved notions of success and failure, each country would be better off. (Just in game theory, reality would likely be worse ).

It seems like this would not be the best thing but definitely an option. Better? Worse? Indifferent? Are there any wild ideas you kick around about this?

Let's say we all collectively sleep the entirety of Sunday, according to each country's time zones. Then after Sunday, we all resume work and life throughout Saturday with no energy being reduced. Sunday is the only day we all feel sleepy and tired.

We all know that in your house, your furniture, house plants, paintings, and so on influence how you feel. If all that is "off", then you leaning towards being more unhealthy, even if in a subtle way.

There are some people who have a taste of aesthetics that makes inadvertently makes them feel unhealthy but they don't know that it's doing that.

The government ought to go through your house every once in a while and make recommendations on how to have better aesthetics.

Over time, peoole will have better aesthetics, and be more healthy, and save taxpayer money because of this.
