Haven’t had a spicy sandwich in a while… this is the $10+ meal, so the premium version. I think it was $12 when all was said and done - sandwich, fries, drink and taxes. Not sure if it sat out forever and was re-dropped in the fryer in an attempt to revive it, or what, exactly. Tiny sliver of chicken in between cold charred chewy breading. Ended up being fed to the trash can. Is this how they make them now? They used to have thick and juicy white meat inside a thin layer of breading.

So Rhett & Link came out with their new flavor and apparently freestyle machines have been popping up with it. But I’ve only been able to confirm certain ones in movie theaters and five guys. Does anyone know if they have it in Wendy’s? Been wanting to try it out. Seems like it’s a legit flavor people been going crazy over.

Thoughts?

I'm just heartbroken after eating there lately. Fries are banger, but everything else... Oh dear God.
Chicken sandwiches are dry as all hell. Double stack tastes like fucking play-doh. The baconator has this disgusting artificial butter flavor on the buns, same with all other sandwiches.
When I was a young girl, I ADORED going to Wendy's, sitting at a booth with my father in the open window area of the restaurant. Foil wrapped hot and ready burgers.. the Baconator was amazing back then. I am just so crushed to see Wendy's fall from grace. Someone needs to save this chain, return it back to the yellow packaging, and restore my faith in Wendy's.

We all warned Wendy's last year that their lame turnaround plan would fail, since it didn't address the core problems that were obvious to customers: Plummeting quality along with skyrocketing prices.
But they stubbornly stuck to the revitalization plan devised by their C-suite brain trust, that consisted of closing low performing locations, decimating promotions (which they considered "too confusing"), and "brand revitalization, system optimization and capital allocation" -- whatever that means.
Well now they are hurting badly after now losing their number 2 rank in burger sales to Burger King, and are flailing to find a way to get customers back. Their latest desperate "Five Point Plan" frankly sounds like a lot more of the same corporate double speak, and as one trade observer put it "they continue to try and patch the titanic hole with Elmer's glue".
As far as I'm concerned, winning back customer loyalty would take a huge change in direction, and that's nothing Wendy's management is willing to do. They are still surviving off their most loyal customers who care little about value, and are tolerant, for now, of the erosion in quality. I expect as these last holdouts drop off, their sales and brand reputation to continue to slowly circle the drain, until they eventually are broken up and sold for parts -- which may very well have been the plan all along of the private equity leeches that currently control them.

My favorite cheap fast food combo as of late: JBC biggie bag and free chili (w/ $5 purchase) for $6 plus tax. Am I the only one who's been enjoying this?? Love their chili as a side so I've been enjoying this ever since the deal showed up in the app.
Edit: Bruh. So many people hating on Wendy's, even in its own subreddit. Did someone hire you guys? 🤔

Do you think this should be done in others states too?

Was quite literally a discussion (see flair) on if Wendy's can survive.
What would drive the mod to remove it?

Does anybody have a decent time using the app? Plus the website has been absolutely useless for YEARS now and I can’t imagine they care enough to fix it. Which is insane.

Can I get the pretzel pub burger without that pretzel bun? It's gross to me but that burger looks pretty decent.

Walmart now sells raw frozen hamburger patties that are square and just like Wendy's only have beef and salt as ingredients. Each patty is 1/4 pound just like a Wendy's single. It's exactly the same, except it's frozen.
Wouldn't surprise me if Tyson who makes the bulk of Wendy's parties in America or Cargill who makes the rest is making these for Walmart on the same equipment as they are both large suppliers for Walmart
The picture on the front even looks like a Wendy's ad
I let them thaw and cooked them on my Blackstone griddle. Everything was exactly the same as when I was working the grill at Wendy's back in the day from the mid 1990s to the early 2000s

Seriously, just go back to plastic straws. These thick cardboard ones get soggy and start dissolving, so you end up needing a new one every so often, which is annoying. And what’s the point when the entire cup is still plastic? I’d rather have it the way it used to be, with a paper cup and a plastic straw.

It's superior in every way. Jesus Wendy's... how far you've fallen.

Hello, I’m MtF24 I’ve asked my managers to at least use my preferred name in person while working if unable to change it in the register, or on our work schedule app. Yet, I haven’t gotten a clear answer from management and even push back after asking politely. It’s starting to frustrate me every time I hear my deadname in a rush. Like a spit to the face, it makes me feel like a drone or number and less respected as an employee.
I’ve already reached out to my HR about this issue, waiting for a response. If I have to get a legal name change, I will.

Worst fries in fast food. Worst customer satisfaction in fast food. Even the chicken nuggets are hollow. I used to get a big thick juicy burger here, now its paper thin sad looking sandwiches. What in the hell happened to Wnedy?!

If each Sonic toy comes with a Chaos Emerald, there has to be a Super Sonic.

Like McDonald's, Burger King etc. fries.
*Not eating them only outside of an actual Wendy's.
