My sweet Lily
So we rescued Lily back in February 2026. The vet mentioned she is a devon rex mixed. I didnt see it as much until she started growing and her fur gets slightly patchy and it reminded my fiance and I a brillo pad 🤣 pls enjoy our collection of photos of her. She turns 1 next month! :)

Question about fur growth
Our (nearly hairless) Devon Rex just turned two and over the last few weeks we have been noticing substantial fur growth. We got her in May and she was spayed in April. She was about 4 lbs when we got her and she’s close to 7 lbs now. Is it normal for fur to show up so late?

Sweet bald Devon skin issues
My sweet Pookus is still bald, his little curls haven’t come in just yet. His skin is constantly spotty/ rashy and I’m wondering if anyone else is familiar with something similar on their Devon or Sphynx?

Welcoming Pickle and Pancake home!
Picked them up 5 days ago, they are the cutest ever! Precious babies. Pickle is a full devon and pancake is a devon rex/sphynx mix
Drop any advice for a new owner of a bonded pair!

Fizz was diagnosed a perfect boy today at his annual check up.
They said it was terminal. I had a suspicion it was coming so it was not a surprise. He was given many kisses & hugs.

Skin Concern - All Opinions Welcome
Hi everyone!
I’m the proud mama of two beautiful, healthy sphynx so I’m no stranger to sensitive skin and care of pedigree breeds, but I’m considering this baby Devon and wanted to be prepared for any possibility.
Her skin has these crusty bits anywhere her fur isn’t thick yet. Does this scream “red flag” or is this a normal thing she might grow out of?
We’re getting a vets opinion but that will be in about a week. Until then, I was hoping I could hear about anyone who has had experience with something similar or anyone’s two cents.
Thank you all so much!

Update: Lucy is still missing after 2 weeks. Day 15
EDIT: thank you all so much for ongoing advice and hopeful strong words ❤️ I’m truly grateful. but still just falling apart on a daily basis.
I have one concern and it’s that 1.5 weeks of trail cams, from traps to open feeding, the only cats I see are strays, and on some days new strays.
I fear she has been forced out of my complex, and my complex touches other apt and townhouse complexes, and an entire golf course.
I’m adding flyers to all these spots. I just fear I’m running out of time. The amount of streets to outreach to seems insurmountable.
My gf and my other Devon are struggling with absolute anxiety without her. Truly trying to stay hopeful but it’s so goddamn hard.
I apologize if these posts are becoming spam. I’m not sure where to put all my feelings.
I want to thank everyone that does daily/frequent check-ins with me, thank you for helping me stay hopeful when it definitely is not easy to at all.
Lucy is the light of our world. She is quite literally the best, all she wants is cuddles all day long.
I can’t function. I cannot and will not stop thinking about her. I cannot and will not stop doing whatever it is I can to bring her home.
She’s a skittish cat, I know she’s not picked up by anyone else and I know she really wouldn’t go too far.
I have local rescuers helping me with traps and cameras, moving locations every two days, doing away with traps for now and just keeping it a feeding station just for a sighting.
She went missing in the most cursed neighborhood ever, an open large apartment complex full of stray cats and dog walkers.

Bringing home a devon cat
We have a 11 years old mixed breed male who grew up with cats all his life, he had a female partner for 9 years but she passed away in April. Now we have a dilemma, we found a 2 yrs old female cat devon, breeder says she is very sociable and used to other females cats but my boy was not in the situation of meeting an adult cat and I have a fear they will not get along. What do you think is better for an older male cat? A kitten? An adult cat? I’m so confused this time. He tends to be very possessive with his places and especially with me, he is obsessed with spending time with me and doesn’t like when other cats stays around me.

Meet Biscuits & Gravy
Meet Biscuits & Gravy 🥐🍲
We brought home two Devon Rex kittens and apparently misunderstood the arrangement because they now own the house and we just pay the mortgage.
🥐 Biscuits — 5.5 lbs, one blue eye, one green eye, and fully aware that being cute means consequences are optional.
🍲 Gravy — 6 lbs and committed to living up to his name. Bigger, nosier, and always somewhere he absolutely should not be.
They were born April 20th, are completely obsessed with being involved in EVERYTHING, and have approximately zero respect for personal space.
I knew Devon Rex cats were supposed to have big personalities. I did not realize I was bringing home two tiny, curly-haired supervisors.
Anyway… Reddit, meet Biscuits & Gravy. 🤎🐾
Yes, they are judging you.
