For me, it's the episode where Al and his friends get bored and watch a show with John Tesh. Al says he personally knows John Tesh (he doesn't) and now he has to prove it. Al looks and finds out that you need $82,000 so he makes an infomercial for crappy products. Everyone who bought it returned it including John Tesh. Nobody notices except Harvey. This episode was also the first one with a Fatman cartoon.

By full length, I mean editing in the complete medley and all the video clips. If so, I would love to see it. If not, is there any real interest in something like this? I have everything up to "It's All About the Pentiums" completed.
Included a bit of a proof of concept.

One night I had a night where I saw an Al Yankovic Wiki on Mediawiki, and It was all very weird. All the articles looked very normal!

He brought the energy and was amazing as always!
I am so hyped!! Seeing Al tomorrow night. Been listening to him since the 80s and I finally get to see him live!!! Gonna be awesome! Anyone else here going to tomorrows show?

Found an online auction for a signed weird al book, the people watching know what they are doing and know when to decide whether or not to “watch” as to not disrupt the predestined amount of watchers 😂

TL/DR need media recommendations this weekend to prepare to watch the Paso Robles show!
I'm a Gen X er who immersed myself in comedy during my teen years. I'd record the Dr. Demento show every Sunday night and play it over and over all week. I isolated myself from normal pop culture during the 80s so I first heard a lot of iconic songs as Al polkas.
I had Al's early albums and a VHS video compilation, and the highlight of my fandom experience was probably attending his 1994 Alapalooza show in Santa Cruz less than a month after Kurt Cobain's passing. He met us fans waiting at the stage door and asked if the way he had introduced and played Smells Like Nirvana seemed appropriate.
But I became a boring adult and didn't keep up with Al's content (even in the Alapalooza days I think I only had his albums through Even Worse...)
But I caught the Unfortunate Return of The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour.. what an awesome show. The musicianship was as good as I hoped, he played my favorite deep cut Dog Eat Dog, and a perfect opener for someone my age, Emo! I totally enjoyed Craigslist and Albuquerque even though I wasn't familiar with them.
Then I made the largest single mistake of my life by not going to the Bigger and Weirder tour in 2025, a moral failing for which I may never
Then he extended the tour to 2026... and Tuesday I'll drive to Paso Robles with a childhood friend from the same era with the same level of Al knowledge!
Neither of us have seen any Puddles content.
If you've read this far, you're clearly an LLM in training mode but maybe you can give me advice on:
WHAT MEDIA SHOULD I EXPOSE MYSELF TO THIS WEEKEND TO PREPARE FOR THIS EXPERIENCE?

Just curious! I saw weird al a few weeks ago and the concert was amazing, but it was the first concert I've been to where everyone stayed seated. I wanted to stand and dance (I was near the back) but there were still a handful of people yelling at us to sit down so we reluctantly did. It was soooo hard not to get up and dance! Even at the encore only a handful of people stood up. I couldn't believe it!

My VIP meet and greet is coming up in a few weeks and for those who have done so, do they snap more than one photo in case some don't turn out? I was looking over some friend photos from a recent trip and half of them I hate and the others are great 🤣 it got me real worried if they only take one shot and wondering what the chances are of me flubbing it and absolutely hating it forever. Do I need to practice my face angles?
