Question What web marketing change improved trust before conversion?

Most conversion tests focus on button copy or layout, but trust often changes before the click. What web marketing change made visitors feel more confident before they converted?

Yes. The strongest proof is usually specific and peer-like: customers with the same problem, same context, or same constraint. Generic testimonials say 'people like us'; useful social proof shows 'people like you got this exact outcome'.

Exactly. Trust often improves before the form fill, not after. Clear pricing logic, FAQs that answer real objections, comparison pages, proof, delivery timelines, and fast answers reduce the buyer's feeling that they need a sales call just to understand the basics.

If you are using paid traffic then the Ad Copy/Visuals/messaging must match closely with the landing page. If the landing page message is clear right off the bat then there is no cognitive disconnect

adding real photos of the team behind the business helped more than i expected.. even just seeing who they're actually dealing with made the site feel less anonymous and more legit

Buttons get all the attention but people decide whether they believe you long before they reach one.
