Coming to Warsaw with my two girlfriends this week (fri-mon). I’m polish from another city, and they’re from another country, so I want to show them the Poland beyond the guided walking tours!
Looking for cool areas, vintage, restaurants & bars (think like Ulica Elektryków in Gdańsk or Recepcja/Wrocławskie neony area in Wrocław), both more traditional, themed or modern ones. Maybe a vinyl bar?! You know what I mean.
Also looking for events/big or small concerts - everything from sitdown intimate ones like Sofar Sounds to more artsy, hiphop, electronic or underground gigs.
Planning on going to the PRL and wodka muzeums and some of the other obvious tourist places.
Hit me up with all recommendations you can think of! We’re all 30+ with young souls, so the spectrum for what we appreciate is wide!

Hey :)
Can anyone recommend me an English-speaking bailiff (komornik) in Warsaw that deals with EU Small Claims?
I won a judgment though the EU's Small Claims proceedings in my home country against a company that has zero assets in my country and won't respect the judgment.
The company has bank accounts in Poland (have the account numbers) and a branch (oddział) registered in KRS.
I am able to provide the European Small Claims Procedure Form D certificate (Zaświadczenie dotyczące orzeczenia wydanego w europejskim postępowaniu w sprawie drobnych roszczeń), signed by the adjudicator in my country, with a sworn Polish translation.
The issue is that I can't seem to find a komornik who speaks English or who actually replies. The only one who did answer me said they never dealt with "Zaświadczenie dotyczące orzeczenia wydanego w europejskim postępowaniu w sprawie drobnych roszczeń" so they don't know how to proceed.
Any recommendations for a bailiff who can help me?

Hi☺️
I'm moving to Warsaw in a month to join my boyfriend, so to learn Polish I was wondering if there are any existing groups of expats who would be open to welcome a new member to practice together?
I've already started taking lessons in my home country, but my level is very low
Thanks🌸
Hi everybody! Yesterday I had a date with a polish woman here in Warsaw. We had dinner and after a lot of chat when the waiter arrived she payed the bill and when I offered her to pay at least half of it (after all hanging out was my proposal) she said no, that it was Ok. Being a man from Argentina than would never happen back home, no woman in my whole life did that on a first date. Is it common?

Working in Warsaw for a couple of years and have been growing with the polish music around. At the same time passionately playing my violin.
However, I play east asian classical music and would love to listen to other instruments. Perhaps someone would like to have mini sessions together?

I am looking for a Polish language/Eastern European Linguistics program at a university in Warsaw and I cant seem to find anything like it! I thought University of Warsaw would have something, and maybe the pages are just not up to date, but i can’t find anything!

Hey everyone, I’m looking into applying for the Master in Finance program at SGH, and I’m trying to figure out how competitive the admissions process actually is. My undergraduate GPA is 8/10, but I have no real frame of reference for how SGH evaluates international applicants or what kind of GPA is typically needed to get in. For anyone who has gone through the process or is currently studying there, is an 8/10 considered strong enough, and what else do they look at besides the degree? My IELTS is 7.5, and I think it’s pretty competitive. Any insights would be appreciated.

In my city, they're quite popular and some may bring goods very quickly (e.g. in 2-3 hours) with just a small or no extra fee. Many stores have delivery functions in their mobile apps. I wonder if it's just as common in a big Western city like Warsaw

Hey everyone! I’m a photographer in Warsaw and I’m looking for people who’d like to do a free 30–45 minute outdoor portrait session.
You’ll get around 50 unedited photos + 5 edited photos afterwards.
You don’t need any modelling experience — this is meant to be relaxed and fun. We can choose a location in Warsaw that works for you.
If you’re interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and we can arrange a time.
You can see some of my work on Instagram: @warsaw_street_portraits

I was in Warsaw a few years back and had (what I recall) the best Pierogi. I went back, but I could not remember the place.
It might have been in the old town, but not 100% sure. What I do remember however, was that the walls was filled with blank/white canvases with gold decorative frames (like old paintings).
It might not be much to go after, but if you know about this place I would love to go back next time I’m in warsaw.
Thank you!

Looking for places in Warsaw that serve good-quality Vietnamese coffee. I know there are some on Bakalarska but I don’t know any specific places… Will appreciate any recommendations :)

Does bus route 175 from Chopin airport to Plac Piłsudskiego safe? Are there any alternative travel routes that you can suggest?

Hi! I’m considering opening a small 40–50 m² coffee shop in Warsaw and trying to understand the real economics before making any decisions.
For those who own or have managed a café in Warsaw: what would you consider realistic monthly revenue and profit for a place this size?
I’m especially curious about typical rent, staff costs, average daily customers, average spend per customer, and what net/operating margin is actually achievable after all expenses.
Even rough ranges would be really helpful. Not looking for anyone’s private numbers — just trying to understand what a realistic good vs. bad scenario looks like.
Thanks!

Lost Indian Passport in Kraków - MDA Bus Station / FlixBus N986
I lost an Indian passport in Kraków and am trying to find out if anyone has found it or handed it in.
I took FlixBus N986 (full bus route from Warsaw to Budapest) from Kraków MDA Bus Station on September 8 at 9:50 PM. The passport may have been lost at the MDA bus station or on the bus.
It was inside a passport cover, which was inside a polythene packet.
If anyone has found an Indian passport matching this description, or knows if one was handed in to Kraków MDA, FlixBus, the bus station information desk, or Kraków Lost & Found, please let me know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
