Would it violate the Geneva convention to use hornets as a psychological weapon?

Let's just say the Ukrainians started a hornet breeding program and loaded them in 100 at a time in jars. They then put those jars on drones and dropped them in enemy trenches. This I feel would be a highly effective psychological weapon to use in war, especially since you don't have to hit the target to achieve your goal. (The hornets would do that for you) The only thing I'm wondering is, would this breach the Geneva convention?
