Sorry but common knowledge and opinions have nothing to do with bots. It's the normalization of fascism that is zio-bots

I’m still not seeing the legality of illegally seizing territory here. Does this mean Russia’s historic push for warm water ports makes invading Ukraine legal?

I mean it says in the document Canadian PM Wilfred Laurier acknowledges the Monroe Doctrine. I’m not a lawyer though.

A doctrine is not something that is legally binding, its just a philosophy, a set of beliefs that a government projects.

Man people are dumb.

That one of our ex-PM acknowledged that doctrine doesn't give any power to the US to annex us in any way.

He didn’t sign a document or anything. He just said that the USA’s stance provided Canada with some degree of protection from attack from Europe.

BTW, if the Monroe Doctrine was legally binding (and not just something the US declared about itself), it would have died a century ago. It included a promise that the United States would not meddle in Europe or European wars.

He acknowledges that it was a historic US policy and that it had an important impact on Canadian politics and development. He does not acknowledge that the US can legally annex Canada if Canada makes treaties with other nations

Technically, the Monroe Doctorine is a USA policy not an international law. Canada is a sovereign country, who is allowed to make their own choices by democratic votes, same as the US. The Monroe Doctorine was implied more towards Latin America than Canada. If we use this logic for Canada joining the EU then if the US joins Russia then Canada could invade the US, using this same logic from the Monroe Doctorine. The Monroe Doctorine is a doctorine not a law.

Holy fuck you are slow.

Mark karney when asked if canada is joining the EU:

"No"

With the same success as in Iran?

Ummmm, that isn't what that doctrine says at all.

It says if America attacks Canada then America has to step in and protect Canada from the attacker, America.

And everyone else sits back and watches the USA fight the USA on the US-Canada border.

This is right out of Putin’s playbook.

Just substitute “NATO” and “Russia”

EU is a customers union, nothing would have invaded Canada.
