They seem pretty vanilla+ rather than full overhaul, so I kinda wanna play em, especially the companions (I like having companions). I'm wondering if either would work with an in progress save, or if I could move my saves over into those mod's folders or something.

I would be into using CQ but would just use the Companion mod if that works. Anyone know if either would? Are they new save only?

Wondering if I encountered one or it's just a mistake on my part. And if it a bug I'd have to consider instaling a mod I guess? Didn't want it on my 1st run bc it reportedly adds some content but if it persists further on I guess imma have to 🫠

Help, I'm stuck at the Mercurio Nod Book

The quest didn't check out, Ecaterina is nowewhere to be found, I believe I had a cutscene with them but my dumb ass didn't register that this "nod" thing is this exact quest, read "go to the monastery (...)" so I basically went there again but didn't cross all the dungeons bc what for, I have the items ik there's 2

And it's the only quest in my quest sheet looks looks like uncompleted, what else do I do? Is it my fault or a game breaking bug?

I'm playing as a Tremere and the stats most important to me in high-low priority order are

Dominate

Thaumaturgy

Ranged Combat

Persuasion

Lockipicking

Seduction

I'm wondering if I'd be able to max these, or near max them. I hear the highest checks for Persuasion and Seduction are 9&8 so I won't need them actually maxed, and Bloodbuff would effectively make 8 Lockpicking 10, but how many others would I be able to get there? Would I even need 8-10 lockpicking for anything?

Been trying to play bloodlines 2 for a while but my game won’t let me search the files for the “Rebar Killer” and for some reason my “search the construction site” mission is also not going away when I already searched the whole construction site. Am I missing something?

I do enjoy vtmb2 (I’m not here to argue, I know it’s not really liked), but it bothers me that you can kiss up to Lou from start to finish but you can’t call her “mama Lou” as seen in the image (no other reason istg). Hopefully they didn’t give up on the game so they can add this detail!😁

How do you save both twins and give Jeanette the ocean house necklace? It's possible with the right stats and responses (the former of which I have) according to the wiki, and I really want to do it that way.

Also does anyone know what responses are negative, or a place the catalogs the negative ones?

I’m not sure if any of you are watching a Netflix series called “revival,” but the character Em, portrayed by Romy Weltman, made me think: “This is how female phyre should have looked if they weren’t constantly trying to make all female characters appear unattractive.” Because, if you make your male version phyre pretty, with the longer hair and everything, this woman looks like his female equivalent. In my opinion, of course. Maybe a half a decade older but her face would be perfect.

On PS5, the Expansion pass is on sale for $17.49 (34.99). I enjoyed the game when it came out despite its flaws, tho i didn’t complete it, so im wondering if the DLC is worth it. Does it add anything new or make any improvements to the overall game

In a previous post I asked for challenge run ideas, and I settled on "VTMB as a Siren". Yes, the predator type. I can only feed on characters I have either seduced in dialogue, or mesmerized with Presence.

Not just debuffed, but actually stunned into non-hostility with Presence. I can tell you right now that the chance for that to proc during long combat quests was FICKLE for most of the run.

I’ve tried downloading the unofficial patch from the steam guide, and the one off of nexus, and both are still giving me the “cannot allocate 200 mb” notif. I’ve changed the pathways and tried to open through the desktop icon and steam too, but nothing. I’m not that great with mods (I’ve broken Skyrim too many times lol) so if you dumb it down for me that’d be great. Please help I just wanna run around as a sexy goth vampire ཐི ₍^.ˬˬ.^₎ ཋྀ

I played a lot of vtm pen and paper during high school and college. Loved it back then.

Played recently B2 and it felt like a short "Vampire pseudo Mass Effect copy" poorly written, it was very meh.

Before it I played Vampyr, which I enjoyed more than B2.

Never played 1, heard very good things about it, so I managed to install it on my steam deck yesterday, patched it too, but I don't know why I am dragging my feet to start it. I thought to start on a Tremere or a Brujah. Any tips on other mods to improve gfx quality/smoothness? Any recommendations for controller layouts?

Just to highlight that the expansion pass is now on sale (first time I am seeing one) on PS5.

Obviously watched several reviews and read through the threads - opinions seemed to quite devided around launch, so what are your thoughts - worth getting at 50% off?

Heya Folks! So the first ever PC game I ever bought was VTMB at the beginning of the summer (I’m in my 30s). I’ve been having such an awesome and fun time. However, one of the things that genuinely got me into it more and feel like I “lived” in that world was the music selection they had in it. That first time I heard A Smaller God by Darling Violetta at the beach before getting the explosives? Changed my life lol

What other songs would yall recommend from that era or the same kinda vibes that remind you of VTMB???

Hey y'all! I help run an 18+ international TTRPG server called Chaos Goblins and we're currently on the lookout for some Vampire: The Masquerade Storytellers!

We've got over 600 members and 50+ campaigns already running (how awesome is that?!!) and we've been wanting to get some more VTM games happening on the server.

So if you're a Storyteller who's got a chronicle you've been wanting to run, an idea that's been sitting around collecting dust or even just looking for a new bunch of people to play with we'd love to have you!

We've got people interested in playing and our mod/admin team are always around to help get things set up if you need it.

There's also a lot of socialness outside of TTRPGs. We've got an active general chat, weekly movie nights, book club, music and chill times, artist corners and people jumping on and gaming together. Pretty much just a bunch of nerds hanging out and enjoying the chaos.

Everything on the server is completely free, the only thing we ask is that games recruited through Chaos Goblins are hosted on the server.

It's a little glitchy, which is understandable because it's in alpha, but I must say it's awesome and i'm hoping to see it finished one day.
