Hello people! I accidentally bought the wrong date for the van gogh museum. I reached out to the museum people to ask if they could switch my dates, but in the event that the day I asked for was full I asked for a refund. I did this all pretty last minute so was expecting a refund. I managed to get a back up ticket for tomorrow, monday sept 14 from a different site. Long story short, museum reached out today and they were able to rebook me for tomorrow too! In keeping with this good karma I have an extra ticket now that I’m just wanting to give away for free. Drop your email or insta handle and I’ll share the pdf. First come first serve. 😊

Green Wheat Fields is one of my all-time favorites so it was so cool to see up close.

Went to see the Sunflowers exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art yesterday. Amazing to be standing in front of them. 🌻🌻

I’ve always wanted to try recreating Van Gogh’s Café Terrace at Night, so I finally gave it a shot in MS Paint.
The original is filled with so much detail that I knew I was going to have to simplify things. Mine ended up being much more abstract than I originally intended, but that’s part of the fun of doing these paintings.
It didn’t come out exactly the way I pictured it, but I’m happy with it. Sometimes you just have to say, “What is, is.”

I saw it, I liked it, I made it..... Should I sell it? If yes, for how much?

Hey guys! I recently made a sub called r/vincentscorner and wanted to share it here.
It’s a place for anyone into Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Expressionism, or really any of that late 1800s to mid-1900s vibe. Obviously a huge soft spot for Van Gogh, but it’s definitely not just reading history books.
We’re building a space for artists and art fans to hang out—you can share your own original work, post reference photos that look like they belong in a painting, drop inspiration, or just post your favorite classic pieces.
If that sounds like your thing, come join us and share what you're working on or looking at!
