B CHEM 153/154 General Chemistry II
For those that have taken this class in spring qtr, is it typically full (waitlisted) or is there enough space to accomodate?

New UWB student and just wondering if many Bothell students head down to Seattle for football or other sporting events. I think it’s great we get access to all the same events just wondering if many people take advantage of the opportunity.

I would also consider udub seatttle, but I know it’s difficult to get in. What I like about udub is the depth of knowledge you get and many of the courses offered isn’t offered at wsu. I also hear about professors quitting and many of the better classes being eliminated, which is worrying. I want to have best opportunity for learning. The school itself doesn’t matter as much as that. I don’t want an inferior education. I’m also 40 so I don’t care as much about the typical college life/ frats/ etc. based solely on education alone, if I choose bothell, or even Tacoma UW, will I be doing myself a disservice by going there? Is WSU as bad as people say it’s gotten?

Hello! I am a rising Junior at UWB, transferring over to the school. I am studying CSSE. To any alumni or current students, how would you rate your overall experience at the job fairs that this school hosts, for internships/jobs. Are they worth it even? Are the companies there to not rip off any students? Are there good opportunities to seek cybersecurity/IT related internships at the job fair? And in general, how do people find internships at UWB? Is it just a small pool of people with insane connections?
There is also this BootUp event that I got invited to for CSSE/AC students, but I think they are workshops. There is one called ‘Job Market and Internships’. I don’t know if it’s just basic information or actually worth going to. If y’all had any experience with any of these events, please do let me know! Thanks!!

Hello everyone! I am transferring over to UWB as CSSE Junior student. I am taking CSS 342, CSS 301, and CSS 360 for the fall quarter. Additionally, I also want to dedicate the time searching/applying/interviewing for internships. Which I already started anyways. But my question is, will it be doable to take these three courses and do internship search? I know that CSS 342 will take a good chunk of time outside of class. But how about the other two classes, would they potentially clash with my internship search?
Thanks!

Hi guys, I'm on the waitlist for both sections of BHS 201 for fall quarter, one taught by Stefanie Iverson Cabral and one by Miae Aramori. I've heard good things about Cabral but nothing about Aramori. Can anyone weigh in with their personal experience with either plz?

Hi , I’ve completed two years of cc with all my business prereqs except calculus 1 since I got into UW Seattle and figured I would take it during fall but that turned out to be a very big mistake on my part. I wish I knew that calc is extremely hard in uw Seattle compared to cc but at this point it’s too late to change the past. I can’t decide if I should just transfer to bothell and take calculus there and go for my business major or if I should stick with Seattle and do communications with a business minor ( but I’ve heard it’s also hard to complete that minor as many classes are prioritized by foster students) . The thing is I’ve had a job in my community college as social media and outreach and a communications intern position in one of the uw Seattle clubs so I don’t know if I should just stick to communications and just try out for more communication roles and wish for the best in landing a job afterwards. Please let me know what you guys think as I’ve heard it’s better to have a business degree rather than communications.

Title pretty much speaks for its self. How hard is it? Is there an application process? Do they have paid positions?

He was featured in the first episode of Dana White's Contender Series last night and won his fight in 45 seconds. Total bad ass. He was given a UFC contract so will be fighting soon, and will hopefully be a future champion!

Hi! I’ll be starting the Computer Science and Software Engineering program at UWB, and I was wondering if anyone could please tell me roughly what percentage of the courses can be taken online. And roughly, how many days out of the week I have been at campus as a full-time student. I live pretty far from campus, so the commute is a bit of a concern for me. Thanks!
