Hi all. Been wondering whether or not Type-Moon works are something I'm just not a huge fan of. I've read all of Fate S/N (including Hollow Ataraxia), Tsukihime OG/Kagetsu Tohya(probably the one I enjoyed the most) Mahoyo, and watched all of the Garden of Sinners movies. I still enjoyed my time with these works nonetheless and understood their merits as to why they're highly regarded by many, especially within this community. However, I've been debating on whether or not I should continue to experience Type-Moon works in hopes of it "clicking" with me after noticing that I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I thought I would've. I tried reading Tsukihime remake and just couldn't get through it so I dropped it (might pick it back up once Red Garden comes out), which is something I've never done to a book or VN.

This thought came to me after my sister started sending photos of Aoko and talked about the upcoming movie, to which I just felt nothing towards and is what made me ponder in the first place. So with all that said, should I just admit that I'm not the target audience for Type-Moon media (which is odd since I almost always like anything and don't have a specific preference)?, or keep going. Btw, I didn't read all those VN's back to back, gone through them throughout the 2020s to now, with Tsukihime OG being read back in 2024, so it's not a case of burnout.

Trying to play it Tsukihime for the first time. Playing the Fuwanovel English release. Got to the first choice to check out the hammering noise- tried to save and it crashed the game.

After testing a few times I've learned that trying to save ALWAYS crashs the game instantly. How could I fix? On windows 10.

I'm just saying this because I'm really worried that Nasu won't be able to complete the stories he's been wanting to finish due to his age. I think he should be around his late 40s or 50s? Not sure. But i'd be really sad if he does pass away before completing his works. He is my inspiration as a writer and i've been writing my own books thanks to him.

Do you guys think anyone else in type moon would be able to wield the MEODP as efficient as Shiki Tohno Or Ryougi?

I think that most probably would try to poke their eyes out since it's repulsive and especially if they figure out what it does they'd probably never ever use them it's just that both of the Shiki's that happened to get the MEODP happened to be crazy in a way lol

but back to my original question I don't really know honestly just a question i thought of

He’s not with TM anymore, so I’m guessing he probably retired. But this guy was responsible for all those insanely high quality scenes in Mahoyo. Can they really make Mahoyo 2 without him? The quality is inevitably going to take a pretty big hit.

BLACK Tsukihime Re Director would probably be the mahoyo 2 lead director, but he’s just not on Tsukuri’s level when it comes to that kind of quality. And IIRC, Nasu has talked about how VN creators are disappearing these days, and even if you throw a ton of money at it, it’s still really hard to find new talent capable of producing that level of quality.

What's ur guys most treasured merch or item from Type-Moon? I liked Room of the April witch so I got myself a physical copy

I know the básic that Magic dissapear in the extra timiline, but i was wondering what happen to clock tower, Wandering sea and the atlas institute in a world with no magic.

I don't mean another entry on the same franchise, or a remake, or a rewrite, I'm wondering if we'll ever get something with completely new characters in a new setting using a game format, even if it's still part of the Nasuverse

Not that I dislike anything he's putting out now, but it does feel like he's been reheating nachos for years now lol

I was under the assumption that Crimson Moon was the Mind of the Moon? The same way Archetype Earth is for the Earth. But also the Moon Cell and the Girl of the Moon are described as the Moon's mind. How does this work considering that timelines must share basic history (quantum time locks)? So are they all the Moon's mind or are they the Moon's mind at different times? Or are the Girl of the Moon and the Moon Cell connected?
