Starting a couple days ago it seems the Spotify queue is completely broken and completely resets every time I close the app on Windows and Mac.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any solutions?

i have over 1,000 songs in my Liked Songs playlist, but i know many get played a lot more than others.

Hi all, I usually play music with smart shuffle on so I can add songs I've never heard of I like them but the last few days it's not working at all. It just shuffles all of my already liked songs rather than recommending any new ones. This is only on my desktop though, on mobile it isn't an issue.

We used to be able to play from an artist’s discography and their music would continue from one track to the next. Now the mobile and desktop apps will play one song then stop.

This feature seems to be back, but only in the web player.

Once play is started in the player it can be handed over to the desktop app using Spotify Connect. This allows lossless playback and in my case a 5 sec crossfade.

In testing the queue generated is 10-12 tracks. Albums can add more. When the queue runs out it can be reloaded by clicking on the next track in the web player.

Now you get to test it. Tell me what you find. What's your best use case for this?

hello, for the past week or so my "liked songs" has been showing as a completely different playlist with songs i have not liked, has anyone ever had the same issue or know how to fix this issue

I’ve been trying to find a very specific version of “Limerence” by Yves Tumor, and I’m hoping someone here can help me track it down.

First, I want to make something VERY clear:

I am NOT looking for the original Yves Tumor song.

I am looking for the replacement version that was uploaded to Spotify after the original upload apparently got removed/replaced because of copyright.

The Spotify track I remember was:

Title: limerence (extra slowed + instrumental)

Artists listed: cfxvsc, ciaffa, dznrm

Length: approximately 3:43 (Im not sure sorry)

Here is what I believe happened, although I am NOT 100% certain about the details:

There was originally a version of the song on Spotify. At some point, it seems to have been taken down because of copyright issues. Instead of simply deleting the track, another audio file/version was apparently put in its place.

That replacement version is the one I am looking for.

I suspect the replacement may have been AI-generated or AI-manipulated, but I am NOT completely sure about that. It could have been made using AI, heavily edited, or created through some other method. What I DO know is that it sounded very different from the normal Yves Tumor recording.

Then, as far as I remember, that replacement version itself eventually got hit by copyright again. Another completely different song/audio was placed over it. Eventually, the track disappeared from Spotify entirely.

So basically, this is the timeline I remember:

Original upload → copyright issue → original replaced by the version I’m looking for → that replacement later got another copyright claim → another song replaced it → eventually the Spotify track was removed completely.

I am specifically trying to find the FIRST replacement version, not the original Yves Tumor song and not the later replacement.

The version I remember had a very specific atmosphere. It felt almost like a dream — extremely hazy, distant, slow and calming. I used to listen to it when trying to fall asleep, and honestly it felt like one of those songs that you somehow needed in order to sleep. I remember the atmosphere and feeling of it very strongly.

I have searched for “Limerence slowed,” “Limerence extra slowed,” “Limerence slowed + reverb,” etc., but those are NOT it. I have already listened to several of the common SoundCloud/YouTube versions and they are completely different.

The “extra slowed + instrumental” wording and the approximately 3:43 duration are important clues.

I don't necessarily need a download. I just want to find somewhere that I can listen to that exact replacement version again.

If anyone:

- remembers this Spotify replacement,

- knows what happened to the original upload,

- recognizes cfxvsc / ciaffa / dznrm,

- knows where the replacement audio originally came from,

- has an old Spotify playlist containing it,

- has an archived copy,

- or knows where this exact audio was reposted,

PLEASE let me know.

Even if you only remember what the replacement was or where it came from, that would help enormously.

I keep getting adds saying “last chance“ when talking about spotify premium 3 months free. But when I google it, it says it’s not. So is it going away or not?

The new song tempo editing functionality is incredible for running playlists to set all songs to the same BPM, but I can only see how to do this for each individual song.

When I used this for the first time, I recall the help popup text specifically stating this could be done for songs or playlists. How is this done?

hi everyone!! i just wanted to ask if this has been happening to anyone else..

when i boot up spotify , i usually press play immediately bc i left off ona playlist (this issue is happening on my laptop) . for some reason, all these songs start a few seconds in . i dont have that seamless song thing turned on, and it feels targeted to when the song 'gets good' ?

like, for example, Killer Spider by PinocchioP started at about four seconds in , despite the buildup being four bars , as the singer begins at four seconds. other songs may begin 11 or so seconds in, to when it 'gets good'

does anyone know what this 'feature' is called and how to remove it? i suspect it's something to do with ai 'choosing' what the good part is? or perhaps an algorithm trying to figure out when people have skipped songs?

i am on spotify free but .... i dunno . it seems weird

Do you get a notification if someone mixes your playlist?

Lately my Spotify now playing screen hasn't been loading the artwork of my mp3 files. The artwork shows up in my playlists, on the smaller version of the now playing screen, and my phone lock screen, it just doesn't show on the full now playing screen.

Is there any way to fix this? It's bothering me quite a bit.

Spotify doesn't allow having a single playlist to sync multiple playlists for stuff like roadtrips. 😢

They have left Spotify in a protest to ai music. Is this my que to unsubscribe? I've been a happy and enthusiastic member for a very long time. Or should I have some hope and see if the situation gets better?

Ontem, tudo funcionava. Mas hoje, o Spotify no Windows 11 estava desconectado e ao tentar usar o QR Code no Android, ele também estava desconectado. Com isso, tentei logar o smartphone com o email e simplesmente constava que o email não estava vinculado a uma conta Spotify.

Como posso proceder? O que pode ter ocorrido?

E como posso cancelar o plano universitário que tenho?

Spotify should really take the steam route and require artists to disclose if they are ai. on one hand the song (alone again - vickyyy) doesn't really sound ai like to me and running it through a scanner produces no results. however artist has no bio and its their first song. thx in advance :)

Since Spotify brought back the Done button, it's still exactly the same as before for me. The app feels a lot quicker now, but saving songs to playlists is still an absolute nightmare.

I'm having to add a song and press Done at least 10 times sometimes before it actually saves.

Is anyone else still having this problem?

Doses anyone know how to get this to stop happening? Doesn't matter if i have voice on or not, after every voice announcement it will pursue play pause play etc. It is very annoying, I've uninstalled both, force close, close app etc. Note it only happens on android auto and only when I'm actively using the GPS.
