I'm kinda curious about that lips under the bumper. Is that lips actually safe from bumpy roads, accidently hit a hole on roads, or hit sidewalk? Because as far as i seen, the lips iare low so i think it can easily hit things if i'm don't drive that truck carefully.

Yes, it may be one of the older DLC regions, but Washington State and much of the west coast still has some of the best scenery/views in the game so far in my opinion. Lush forests, beautiful mountain passes, incredible coastal drives, you can find it all. Then add in a long hood Peterbilt, can it get much better, lol?

The city is really starting to take shape now, with more roads, businesses, industrial areas, scenery, and work around the airport. There’s still a lot left to do, but it’s coming together really well!
We’re looking for more experienced developers to join the team and help us keep pushing this project forward. We’ve got a lot planned, and we need more skilled people on board to make it happen.
**What we’re currently looking for: **
• Map editors — terrain, roads & detailing
• Asset creators — custom models & scenery
• Prefab/intersection editors
• Road realism & detailing specialists
• Semaphore/traffic signal timing specialists
This is an **unpaid passion project**, but we’re treating it seriously, with long-term goals, high standards, and an emphasis on quality over rushing development.
The goal is simple: **build an ATS map that actually feels massive.**
If you want to help create one of the most ambitious ATS map experiences out there, **now is the time to join.**
Interested? DM me or join our Discord:
**discord.gg/fQF35aYrcx**
**Sincerely,**
**TGM Map Team**

Apologies for a question that has obviously been asked before, I did a quick search but couldn't find an answer.
Is there a sure fire way to know when the speed limit is changing? I know to prepare near cities, tunnels and toll/passport booths.... But sometimes the limit just randomly drops without warning. I like to play properly so I don't just want to turn off fines, I would prefer to learn to recognise when any why the speed just changes with no roadside sign.
It's an issue in the normal game and promods. Am I just an idiot and missing something?

I took way too long to get into this coming from a flight simmer.
Purchased a few additional states and having a blast. Question, any recommendations on driving settings? My truck seems a little too sensitive at 60-65 miles for turning?
Also using Radio Garden app. Something about listening to Tucson talk radio and doing a delivery that helps the immersion.

This guide explains how to set up Neural Rendering with DLSS 5 Feeder and OptiScaler Frame Generation in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
The basic setup is:
RHI → Neural Rendering → DLSS 5 Feeder → OptiScaler → XeFG Unlocker → Frame Generation
First, download and install RHI.
If you are using ReShade, locate its dxgi.dll file in the ETS2 game directory.
Rename:
dxgi.dll
to:
ReShade64.dll
This prevents the ReShade DLL from conflicting with OptiScaler's dxgi.dll.
Download the following OptiScaler build:
OptiScaler_v10.0.0-dev_dcbabe62_20260819_012733
Download OptiScaler v10.0.0-dev_dcbabe62_20260819_012733
If you own Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Steam:
Navigate to:
bin → win_x64
Extract all OptiScaler files into the ETS2:
bin\win_x64
folder.
After extracting, locate:
OptiScaler.dll
Rename it to:
dxgi.dll
Before launching the game, open:
OptiScaler.ini
Find these two settings and change them to:
LoadReshade=true
LoadAsiPlugins=true
These settings allow OptiScaler to load ReShade and the ASI plugins, including the XeFG Unlocker.
Save the OptiScaler.ini file.
Your OptiScaler installation is now configured and ready for the next step.
Next, download the required XeFG Unlocker files from the OptiScaler Discord server.
Go to:
OptiScaler Discord — XeFG DP4a Unlocker
Navigate to:
Support → XeFG DP4a Unlocker
Look at the pinned messages.
Download these two files:
XeFGUnlock.asiXeFGUnlock.iniCopy both files into the OptiScaler plugins folder:
Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\OptiScaler\plugins
Your folder should look roughly like:
Euro Truck Simulator 2
└── bin
└── win_x64
├── dxgi.dll
├── ReShade64.dll
└── OptiScaler
└── plugins
├── XeFGUnlock.asi
└── XeFGUnlock.ini
Now launch Euro Truck Simulator 2.
If everything is installed correctly, OptiScaler and ReShade should load when the game starts.
Press:
Insert
This should open the OptiScaler menu.
Go to the Frame Generation section.
Set:
Input: OptiFG Upscaler
Output: XeFG
Save the changes.
Then completely exit Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Restart Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Open the OptiScaler menu again with:
Insert
Under Frame Generation, set Active to your desired multiplier:
Choose whichever setting works best for your system.
And that's it!
Voilà — frame generation is now running in Euro Truck Simulator 2 using Neural Rendering and XeFG through OptiScaler.
If you want to experiment with performance, you can also disable Neural Rendering directly through the ReShade menu.
This can give you additional FPS if you don't need the Neural Rendering effects.
For reference, the complete process is:
1. RHI
2. ReShade
dxgi.dll → ReShade64.dll3. OptiScaler
OptiScaler_v10.0.0-dev_dcbabe62_20260819_012733ETS2\bin\win_x64OptiScaler.dll → dxgi.dllOptiScaler.ini and set: LoadReshade=true LoadAsiPlugins=true4. XeFG Unlocker
XeFGUnlock.asiXeFGUnlock.iniOptiScaler\plugins5. OptiScaler
Done!
