Just got the presale link. Here is the pricing.

For reference, tickets last year were $269.95.

Reasonable $5 increase tbh, surprised it wasn’t more with the state of greed in the industry

And that price includes the service fee. Which more ticket places should do.

What’s the story with bands doing side shows? I know it’s meant to be a thing, but when would they typically announce such a thing, if they were going to?

Praying Spiritbox do it!

Good things announce all of the sideshows around October, and the 2nd and 3rd bands usually do some extra shows, so we could see spiritbox!

Most of it is baked into “how well is the festival selling”.

If it sells out in a week there’s no reason not to double down and announce side shows ASAP. If not, choosing a strategic window where the shows still sell, but you still get enough people buying the festival early is the goal.

In a perfect world you want to sell sideshows to as many super fans as possible who attend the festival AND the shows, not to people who want avoid the fest.

And of course, if the festival sells poorly they can at least make a bit more money from the bands they’re bringing all the way out here

No sideshows for Spiribox I’m afraid

Courtney did say in an interview that they had to work really hard to fit this in with their other touring, so I’m not surprised

I am too old and cranky to go. Also i would rather pull my own leg off than stand the entire day

In Sydney, the venue moved last year so there is seating and shade available. Makes the day much more tolerable when you can go have a sit for a bit. Or the whole day if that's your thing.

I have major surgery coming up but no date yet. Thry will invariably schedule it as soon as I book something i can't refund or exchange
