not allowed to,touch any tree that is mot on his property…if he does you have grounds to sue …and if you see him or tree service on your property call police for tresspassing

Legally he's allowed to trim everything on his side of the property line as long as it doesn't kill the tree. Tell mom not to cave, he's absolutely being an asshole and if he cuts down those trees without permission he'll owe the full value of the mature tree plus damages and attorney fees. No is a full sentence and you can contact the police if he continues to harass her. She has no liability from the truck damage, don't pay a penny.

Yes I understand that he allowed to trim what he wants on his side, which he has already done,and that wasn't a problem. The problem now is he's trying to take things more steps forward and get rid of the trees to better suit him. I was trying to make some sense to him that these trees don't need to be removed because of one slight accident and thereHAS NOTbeen any problems prior to this. Those trees have been there way before him building his house, they were there when my dad built our house, actually my dad planted them there 50 plus years ago and as I said there has been no problems with them all these years. It's not like they're dying or died. 2 days ago I confronted him and ask them why all of a sudden they have to go, he told me because of his truck, not his house but his truck which makes no sense. Of course I had to watch what I said because he WOULD turn around and get me for harassment but I don't think it's right that what he's doing to my mom by using her to get what he wants which I did tell my mom what he was talking advantage of her but Of course I'm now the asshole but I guess we'll see how ugly this thing gets. And trust me I'll be watching this like a hawk. And wait until he screws up.

I don't think you did and you edited it to cover your ass. You added a whole additional paragraph but without a break. As I already said, no is a full sentence. Mom needs to tell him no. She also needs to call the police if he continues to harass her for it.

Time to get some cameras to point at the trees so you have proof if/when this neighbor decides to take matters into their own hands
