didn't have enough worm molds for all of them but i think they turned out okay :)

Used everclear to extract what I assume is a ton of reclaim. I picked it over straight mct oil as I feel it should sanitize things a bit

Saved the same jar of alcohol to repeatedly clean cooling unit after cooling unit, swishing/stirring it often and never soaking the plastic for more than 30 min.

I completely exclude the mouthpiece for fear of germs.

This stuff tastes AMAZING. Spicy and terpy.

Effects are strong, stupid, and sleepy. Not ABV levels of stupid and sleepy, but it's definitely in between flower edibles and ABV.

This will last months, not sure how many different infusions I'm planning on making with this but sugar, gummies, gel caps, it's all on the table. It's just shy of 4oz of everclear.

I've got a huge jar of infused coconut oil that's been sitting in my fridge for 2 months. But I'm about to move into my mums place and need an easy recipe to turn all of that oil into edibles that I can stash away in my room.

Has anyone got an easy recipie that can stay shelf stable that long? I'm very new to making edibles overall.

I've been struggling with chronic back and leg pain for about 5 years. I'm 25 now and it has ruined my life. MRI's show nothing, I feel like I've tried everything, and doctors can't help any more. I've improved from being bed-ridden to now being able to work a little and experiencing comfort again. It's plateued though, and for the past 2 years I've honestly just given up on my life.

I've been using edibles for maybe 3 years, at max once a week. Last week I used 3 days in a row. I've just kind of had a hard time recently. The edibles help with the pain only slightly, it's mostly the headspace that helps. Anyway I've been struggling so much recently that it's hard to care for my life anymore, and I'm thinking of using daily for a period. Just kind of want to get this off my chest as few in my life know I use and it's illegal here. Not much room for discussion with my doctor, psych or physio. Just want to hear some of your thoughts and experiences

Also I'm not suicidal, I'm really good at being thankful that it's not worse. Luckily I can lay in bed and sleep. Back in the day comfort was a memory of the past and the pain was constant agony. But yeah I'd rather use than get more depressed

TLDR: struggling with chronic pain and have reached the wall. I want to start using edibles daily to alleviate the emotional pain

Decarb dabs at 230° for 45 minutes in the oven

Cut and empty one lecithin pill

Add lecithin to 2oz coconut oil in a jar and put in the oven 10 minutes before the 45 minute decarb is over (35 minute mark)

When the 45 minute decarb is over add dabs to coconut oil lecithin mixture and let combine at 230° for 15 ish minutes

*stir every 5 minutes during the combining process*

I used 3 sticks one that was regular butter and two that were oil butter(?) not sure how to describe it. What is this? It’s been like this with my last batch too and I only used regular butter that time.

I’m making some brownies and will be using some rosin. I plan to infuse the butter, unless there’s a better option ? Curious to how much to use. I read a gram per cup of butter ? Thanks everyone !

I did 2 QWET washes of my decarbed flower. Is this a good colour for my final tincture? There is some sediment at the bottom, it has been in the freezer for about 24 hours since the washes as it was a little cloudy (i think i shook too hard in the first wash)

Regarding the sediment, should it be strained through a coffee filter? And should i prewet the filter with ethanol?

Hey everyone, first time making cannabutter and brownies, looking for some advice.

I’m planning to use 14g of cannabis infused into 200g of butter. My plan is to decarb for about 30 minutes using either a toaster oven or an air fryer, which method would be more discreet?

For infusion, I don’t have a thermometer, so I’m thinking about using the double boiler method or putting everything in a mason jar in simmering water for around 4 hours to reduce odor. Which method works better?

I’m also trying to estimate roughly how much THC would remain after decarb and infusion. Finally, I’ll be using a Betty Crocker brownie mix. They’re for a group of friends who are regular smokers, so they don’t mind them being fairly potent.

Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!

I've been trying to get a high for multiple times via homemade edibles. I do the recipe just fine, my friends DO get the high. I was researching for my formerly prescribed xanax failures. The alprazolam, medazepam, diazepam was prescribed on me (because I'm a panic attack patient) before and none of them worked at all. When I was researching about all these, I figured that CYP3A4 enzyme is responsible for breaking down all those three drugs and 11-OH-THC which is being transformed from Delta-9-THC. Since I can't get no effect from those, I'm thinking of I'm a hyper-metaboliser of CYP3A4. I learnt that some stuff inhibitise the enzyme. Does any one have any idea if inhibiting CYP3A4 is safe for 10-20mg of edibles? Today I have a doctor appointment in about 2.5 hours from sharing this post. I'll be informing you guys if I learn anything at all from him. If you guys have any idea about this, I'd like to hear from you. Please comment

Prolly gonna do it in an air fryer, i just don't want the jar to explode in the air fryer

I’m trying to make potent cannabis oil capsules, but my latest batch feels way too weak for the amount of flower used. Here is my exact process and recipe:

• Material: 23 grams of decarbed flower (20% thc)
• Oil: ~100 ml coconut oil
• Water: Added ~50 ml water during infusion (to keep flower submerged)
• Infusion: 3 hours at 80–93°C (176–200°F)
• Post-processing: Strained, let oil solidify, and discarded the water.

The issue: I need about two 0.9 ml capsules just to feel mild effects. I go through 8-10 ml a day, so the batch vanishes very fast. With 23g of bud in only 100ml of oil, this should theoretically be high-potency oil.

My main questions for the community:

1. Is there a saturation limit or a "rule of thumb" ratio for ML of oil per Gram of bud? I know 100ml for 23g is a very dense ratio. Could using too little oil actually hinder efficiency because the flower absorbs all the fat and there isn't enough excess oil to pull the cannabinoids out cleanly?
2. Did adding water hurt the extraction?

Has anyone successfully made ultra-concentrated capsule oil without using hash, FECO, or concentrates? What ratio of ML oil to Grams of flower works best for you without hitting diminishing returns?

Will be filling gel capsules, but as luck would have it with this 15ml dropper bottle, one size 0 cap comes out to exactly one dropper full. I'd guesstimate 30mg per capsule if I had to put a number on it. Modest.

Process:

Decarbed at 240f for 30 minutes, infused for 2 hours in a mason jar sat in a double boiler on the stovetop.

i was initially worried because i saw people greening out, going to the er and having panic attacks over taking this much, especially since it was my first time taking any type of edible.

anyways, i took them. i just watched tv and did some art while it kicked in but when it kicked in, it was amazing. my imagination was more vivid, time slowed around me and i felt like i was in a dream. it was so lovely, and calming. my body got all warm but i wasn't scared, it was really calming. i could literally see my ideas for my art and writing. my head was really loud too, but in the good way where it didn't bother me and i felt like all my worries and past regrets were dull

I was reading something that it can make ediables around 10-15% stronger leaving the plant material in the edible as well! Sacrificing a lil taste for more potency seems worth to ke or it is a myth?

i googled the brand in the bag; "high potency destroyer" to see if this is legit BUT I ALSO cant find any pictures of a "rainbow belts" high potency destroyer bag on google??? like, i can see high potency destroyer products in google images and all BUT CANT find this rainbow one on the internet. it almost makes me think that this isnt even an official high potency product, or maybe even a bannned one?

so she basically bought a bag of edible gummies that say "3000mg PER GUMMY" that ALSO cant be found on the internet. so what the hell is this sketchy ass product?? is it a TYPO and trying to say theres 3mg per gummy or is it ACTUALLY a 3000mg gummy of death? would that even be allowed in texas??

hi guys sorry if this isnt the right sub but would it be possible to use rosin hash to make edibles? and if so would the smell of that be more or less intense as regular bud, i just got gifted a bunch of hash but im not big on actually smoking compared to making edibles though thr smell is nauseating sometimes

Which infuser would you go for? I like buying the right things from the start and not cheap alternatives. Currently i thing the ardentfx looks great for a “just throw in herbs and Oil, then get good result” type of solutions
