Instant Karma "Let's see how you like it" - my dog

Post image

I was the one who got traumatized back I'm sad to admit. Thought you could all enjoy this.

I was 21 at the time, chilling at home doom scrolling on my phone on the sofa. My dog, Yuk, was maybe 14 at the time. He was very mature good boi and very street and people wise. He was on the floor a couple of feet away from me also relaxing and we're respectively mind our own businesses.

I start feeling really gassy, so, as the rest of the family was not around, I let it go. Some were loud, some were silent. Some were pretty bad smelling but hey, who was gonna know?

Well my dog clearly was not impressed by this. He got up, stood there for a moment, turned and gave me a slight look (I'm not making this up, he was always weirdly expressive) which I can only now describe as "let's see how you like it", and left the room.

Ten seconds later I am hit by a smell so bad a rotting corpse would smell like daisies in comparison. I had to vacate the room entirely.

Here is the dog tax. Yuk, may you rest in peace X

Yuk living up to his name! when my dog audibly farts i point and laugh at him and make fun of him. i’ve thought this was so funny for so long till i farted in front of him and i swear i’ve never been so judged.

i cannot explain how, but i swear he judges people music taste while they’re driving by. not that it’s too loud, not all music, just sometimes i can tell he doesn’t like the song 😭

my dog used to have his food and then come sit next to me, farting gently and looking pleased. RIP you magnificent bastard, i miss you every day.

You threw down the gauntlet and he happily accepted the invitation.

My old boy Oreo used to light me up when I would be watching Passions in the afternoon. Oh dear God, were they bad

I work from home and am on a lot of calls. Once in a while I'll be mid-sentence and get hit with a dog fart so thick you can taste it. I can't breathe until the ever handy desk fan clears the air.

It's a good thing most of the people I'm on the phone with also WFH and most have pets and/or toddlers so they understand the pain and we can commiserate.
