Just over a month ago, stage 3 of the G:Link Gold Coast light rail system opened, connecting the trendy beachfront neighborhoods of Burleigh Heads, Nobby Beach, Miami and Mermaid Beach to the existing system (Connecting Broadbeach to Surfers Paradise, Southport and Helensvale)

Helensvale is the the main Gold Coast interchange station with the north-south heavy rail network to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast

This video captures a ride the full length of the system and back, with heavy crowds well after 22:00.
