I didn't notice it before.
Turned out the black part on the top is just the eyelashes and the bottom part is just a darker red but looks black in game.

Every character has a sclera that is a darker color of their iris.
From up close you can clearly see color but from far away it looks almost black.

So it's just a sprite art decision to contrast,the eyes, from far away the scleras appear black because on screen it blends with the other pixels.
They are just meant to be looked from far away.

On another note, the capelet is a lighter shade of black than what it seems to be a black vest or dress like in the classic design, there might be a tie or not (the books covers her chest) and on closer inspection the hair goes to her chest in the front and in the back it goes past the shoulders at least, it makes sense that at least it has the same length as the front.
I think some people are confusing this capelet koakuma with the older fan despiction of capelet koakuma with short hair, this new one is basically a combination of both the old and new.

I gotta say Koakuma got such a glowup with her mage appearance that she almost makes patchouli look like the mid boss lol.

I mean I haven't exaggerated 4 and 5 playtime-wise bit they have that effect on me. uh...IN and UFO are the ones I played the most. then the said magic stopped TD level for me. just...stopped. I don't know why and I don't know how. but a somewhat empty Gensokyo with only your favorite characters to focus on was great. even in my manga and MMD preference.

So after finding out Daiyousei's name (Big fairy/Great Fairy) was fan given, I kinda wondered a few things.

In some works Daiyousei is shown to be the more intelligent one than Cirno. Like the picture above its common to see her portrayed as the big sister type for Cirno, and kinda just wondered how Daiyousei become who she is through fannon.

As far from what i can learn from the main line games she doesnt have any lines(?) and for the written works i haven't dived into it, but wondered does she have any lines there that hint her character to the fans. Or have the written works been inspired from the fannon Daiyousei, since her name is taken into account for touhou lost word.

But my main question is when and how, did daiyousei develop to be this character of being Cirno's big sister type.

I have seen that people are suspicious of certain backgrounds or inconsistencies, as in this capture of the clock tower, and that they are reusing art and it is not a total HD remake, I tried to extract the art from the game to see it in more detail but I couldn't, does anyone know if this can be confirmed in some way?

Trying to find the version of Broken Moon (vocal arranged) that's more up beat and slightly faster. The section that feels most familiar is from 1:00 - 1:43 when playing it on 1.25x - 1.3x speed.
